We are walking in today: For The Love Of Money is the Root to All Evil.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. You have heard it said that money is the root of all evil, right? Wrong! Turn with me this morning to one of the most misquoted verses in the bible. Paul was addressing Timothy, as he was preparing him for public ministry. Let's also look at it from the Amplified Bible, For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs. We must get the truth about this season of abundance with God. God placed in my spirit, as soon as 2011 was named our season of Abundance--most of us were coming out of 2010 (being the beginning of a recession), the first thought we had was a financial blessing, instead of more knowledge of God. The spirit of the Lord shared with me that's why there is a struggle with some of us. God needs you to look to Him first. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. A clear distinction must be made between the love of money and money itself. Let this truth sink into your spirit. God is not anti-money, or anti-wealth, He is anti-money worship. He has helped us to identify that money-love (worship) is the root of all kinds of evil, in fact, God's plan is that we are healthy, wealthy, and wise in this world--as a testimony of His greatness, power, and glory to come. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Don't miss a true relationship with God in this time and season!!! Luke 12:32-34 32) Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33) Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Fiveamprayer, where are you storing your treasures?! Abundance is not about finances, it's about being closer to God!!!! We can use money like a tool to give God the glory! Look at what Paul shares about the people in Macedonia, giving their last dime to help Christians in need. 2 Corinthians 8:1-4 1) Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; 2) How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. 3) For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; 4) Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. Remember our worship is reserved for only one person, God, Jehovah, Lord, the Creator, our Father!! Luke 12: 27-30 27) Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28) If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29) And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30) For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. God has already made provision for us, what we are to be seeking after is Him--time with Him and a closer relationship with Him! Wealth is not the only measuring stick of our blessings from God!! AMEN.
Bottom line is that money is spiritually neutral--neither good or evil. What are your motives? God is looking at your heart. Fiveamprayer, we are living in abundance. Is God the center of your life? Is He the main focus of your life? Your life should be about seeking and pleasing Him, not seeking money and things. How is your relationship with the Lord? If you are walking with Him, in this abundant season, you would have Him answering your very thoughts! Fiveamprayer, is drawing closer and closer to God, sitting at His feet. We are getting revelations from His word. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. He has already told us that He will abundantly bless us!! Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Through tests, trials and tribulation, the Lord is ever mindful of us. The Lord is blessing--opening up windows of heaven and pouring out, so much so that there is not room enough to receive. It you don't speak the abundance of the Lord!? When money runs out, favor keeps on spending. How can we consider lack when we are dealing with and talking to and in the palm of the hand of the Almighty Creator of the universe?! God has already made a way out for us! He has it all under control. Every prayer is answered, He anchors our soul in His word. We can call on Jesus--He will show up suddenly. God is showing up abundantly. You better hold on , the Lord is showing Himself mighty and strong. Make another request. He is sending the former and the latter rain. Fiveamprayer, seek Him and you shall find Him. Knock and the door will be opened and ask and He will answer. God is pouring out like never before, closer relationship and understanding of His word. This is our season to walk through the fire like Shadrach. Meshach and Abednego. We know we are walking with the fourth man through the fire. There is no weapon that can come against us--this is our season, our time of abundance. 2 Corinthians 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Galatians 6:8-10 8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. There are so many testimonies of being down to the last dime and God coming through right on time. He is more than able, more than enough. The scales have to fall off of your eyes. Isaiah 48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. Fiveamprayer, the Lord is reveling so much to us in this abundant season! He is shattering the devil's lies with His word. He is letting us know there is no one higher, no other source besides Him. Stop running around in confusion while the Lord has all the answers! Also we recieve peace and patience from Him, while we are unlearning the ways of the world and taking on heavenly habits. Thank You God for continuing to be here with us. We are learning about how this walk with You works. The more we are with Him, in His presence--He is teaching us the good and right way. He is answering our thoughts. Call on Him, in 2011--He will show up like never before! Don't get caught up, He is the way out of no way. He came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free. It is raining, you better go out and get saturated and soaked in His word. He is sending us the latter rain. We have an understanding of this abundance season. All provision is available to us by His hand. Abundance is God's will for us, and we will not settle for anything less. Fiveamprayer, we serve the same God that spoke to Moses--Exodus 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. Looking for abundance of goodness and truth, look to the Lord. We are asking for You to send your anointing, Lord. We ask for forgiveness for being caught up in our finances. Do you know who God is? Jehovah Jireh, I AM, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Tsidkenu, He is Lord over all things. Thank You Lord, for forgiving us. We know that when You forgive it is cast into the sea, remembered no more. Thank You for Your patience to teach us how to forgive others. We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, have them to seek you Lord, in your abundant wisdom, abundant love and abundant peace--they will find answers.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

You better get in this word! Make another request, our God is more than able! Shake yourself today, He is giving us a revelation and manifestation of His word. Who the Son sets free is free indeed. The devil thought that he had you--wrong! The Lord has had us dig deeper and deeper into His word. No matter what comes, He will keep you, He is a keeper. Suit up in your armor daily, spending time in the word. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Fiveamprayer keep walking in this season of abundance, with your weapon of mass destruction, swinging as you go, shattering the lies of the devil. Follow and speak the truth. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Have a blessed day.
