We Must Walk With God Like Enoch.

Genesis 5:21-24; Hebrews 11:5; Psalm 56:13; Galatians 2:20; Matthew 11:28-30; Psalm 23:4; Isaiah 50:7; Psalm 114:8; Matthew 6:32; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 16:11; Matthew 26:41; 1 Chronicles 4:10; Job 2:9; Romans 8:6-8; Psalm 34:19; Romans 8:28; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Isaiah 55:8; John 14:6; Numbers 27:17; Psalms 23:4; Proverbs 3:5

We are walking in today: We Must Walk With God Like Enoch.

Genesis 5:21-24 21) And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22) And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23) And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24) And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Enoch, the seventh generation from Adam, was a very special person, a man that followed his religion. No doubt others were dedicated to the cause of righteousness and had fellowship with God and one another, but here is a man that had a continuous walk with God and God took him. Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Fiveamprayer pay attention!! Monday, Don't miss the move of God, even in your wilderness experience; on Tuesday, A little doubt will destroy everything, and Wednesday We must walk with God like Enoch!! Psalm 56:13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living? Keep walking with God no matter what the situation. Enoch walked with God. He constantly set God before him and walked pleasingly before the Lord. He acted as if he were always the seeing eye of God. His Life was a life of communion with God. Enoch made God's word and promises his rule and always glorified Him. God's Word was the rule of his faith. All his actions were directed to the glory of God. Communion with God was to Enoch better than life itself. Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Enoch walked by faith and not by feeling. It is a dangerous thing for the people of God to walk by feeling, but it is a duty and glorious thing to walk by faith. There may be times when we are sick in body or disturbed in mind and that would certainly be no time to walk by feeling!! A tragedy, a time of sorrow may come, and we may feel down and out and all alone. This would certainly be no occasion to walk by our feelings. Trusting our feelings in good or bad times is not recommended in God's Word. People of God in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament walked with God during the best times and worst of times. Consider Job, Noah and Elijah in the Old Testament. They all walked with God. In the time of Jesus, consider Peter, Paul and John. They all took the yoke of the Lord and walked with Him!!! Matthew 11:28-30 28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. We must focus on walking with the Lord, not on how we feel. Just like Jabez who was named pain/sorrow and was more honorable then his brethren. How would you feel it that was your name? Would you still make choices that please your heavenly Father? You can make the choices to seek His face. To sit at His feet. To press into Him and dig more and more into His word. Don't just sit there and not seek Him out!? We are walking by faith and not what we feel. Sometimes it is family that can put us into emotional turmoil. What does God's word say about the situation? Are you walking in Godly principles? Or in how you feel? It's time to walk with God like Enoch!!!
We must walk with God like Enoch--through tests, trials and tribulations. There is nothing too hard for Him, nothing that He can't handle. He was taken up by the Lord--he did not suffer death. Enoch sought the Lord daily. We can learn from Enoch, in how he walked with God. Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Fiveamprayer we must keep walking. Don't go by your feelings. God is more than a conqueror, more than an overcomer. We can walk through the fire like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego--who had a fourth man in the fire with them. We are walking with the Lord--God is with us! We are no longer walking in unbelief. We shall set our face as it says in Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. When we commit and have that kind of focus on God, we can truly walk with Him. In His presence receiving living water. Psalm 114:8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters. Our Lord is more than able--Matthew 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Fiveamprayer, you better know who your Father is! How can you not walk with Him?! He is the light unto our path. The Lord is making a way because He is the way. Walk with Him--don't give up or turn around. He has already given His word not to leave or forsake us! God came to tell us this morning, to walk with Him, like Enoch. In walking with Him, He will talk to you and answer prayers. We just wanna walk with the Lord. We want the Lord by our side day after day. It is our God who is raining down manna from heaven, we can expect our thousand fold return. The more and more that we seek You, we receive Your word in the abundant season. Abundance of His Spirit, and in His presence. We are walking with You like Enoch. Putting You first, seeking to please the heavenly Father. The devil is trying to disguise our season. He is coming against our finances but we serve Jehovah Jireh, we are not fearful, we are standing on His word. Walk in the word, from Genesis to Revelation, walk in Psalms and hear from David that we can fear no evil, for our Lord is with us as we walk through. Keep walking in the word, swinging it if necessary, it is a weapon--Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Walk with God, the devil is a liar, coming through marriages and our children. God is speaking to us, like never before. He is our Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, Elohim and Emmanuel. There is nothing too hard for Him! Just walk with Him, it is He that can turn tears in to joy; give us peace that surpasses all understanding; renew our strength by His joy. Try Him for yourself! He is a keeper, He will keep you day after day. He blesses us day after day--brand new mercies, favor, and grace. Thank You Lord! When money runs out, favor keeps on spending. Tell Him, "I trust You Lord." We lift up fiveamprayer this morning, someone wants to give up, sitting in depression. Let them be encouraged by what we read in Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. We are walking with you, Lord! Don't get caught up in your feelings, fiveamprayer. They will lead you astray every time. We are to walk this out by the word and His Spirit, not feeling and flesh. How do we walk with God and not in our feelings, let's look at Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. As Daniel speaks of in 2:3-4, 3) And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 4) And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments, we can seek Him in prayer and fasting. Our Lord is the keeper of covenants and gives mercy to those that love Him. If we will walk with the Lord, He will walk with us. Don't get caught up in your feelings. We serve the conqueror, overcomer, we find strength in His joy. We lift up prayer requests those known and unknown, have them to know that we can seek the Lord and find Him and walk with Him. We lift up Renee Campbell for traveling mercies as she goes to celebrate the home going of Johnnie Wady with family. Comfort them Lord, we know that absence from the body is presence with the Lord. Lord we ask for forgiveness for not walking with You. Many of us had to learn the hard way of not walking with You. Thank You for forgiving us and taking us back. Praise Your name that You forgive us with no condemnation, our sins are remembered no more. We want to learn to forgive like You, by the spirit, not by feelings.

We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Welcome to the overflow...
Jabez walked with God. You gotta know how to walk with Him. Ask Job, who lost every thing, to where the skin was even hanging off of his bones, Job 2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. Job did not respond to his wife in his feelings, putting aside pleasing God. Let's look at his response in the tribulation of his life, to his wife. Job 2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job maintained pleasing God above all else. We have to walk this out in the spirit, to walk with God. Feelings and flesh cannot walk with God. Romans 8:6-8 6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Ask Abraham, Mary, the children of Israel--40 years in the desert walking around and their shoes did not wear out. He rained down manna from heaven to feed them. Sounds like God providing for you as you walk with Him. Don't give up on God. 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. Walk with God and walk away from your feelings. Don't take a time out on God, pouting because things did not work out as you thought! God has told us many times, Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. This is where the trust part comes in. We have to walk this out, in spite of how it looks in the natural. Continue to walk with God, He will work it all out in His perfect timing. Trust and believe, there is no one else that can do what our Lord can do! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Numbers 27:17 Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd. This is a fight, did you think that it was gonna be easy?! Keep walking with God. He brings us in to bring out of us what He has put on the inside of us. He is our Shepherd and He is telling us, "walk with ME." We must respond, "You are the Lord my God, I will walk with You." Stop sitting down on God. Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Now if the Lord is with us in the valley of the shadow of death, leading us out, He is surely with us everywhere else. Walk with the Lord, fiveamprayer! We must walk with the Lord so much so, that we are caught up like Enoch. Where all you can see is the face of God. This is your time and your season. God is doing a new thing. Just sit at His feet. Time out for time outs! Believers need to walk this out--walking with the Lord. Trust in the Lord, like the woman with the issue of blood, she knew if she pressed in and touched the hem of His garment, she would be healed. We must do the same--press on, press in, walk with, and continue to walk with God. What is this, believers giving up at a time of abundance?! Abundance of His word and His presence. What ever you need is found in Him. And the gifts that He gives brings no sorrow! Thank You Lord! Don't give up, keep walking with God. You have to trust Him, stop trying to figure it out! Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. It's not about your feelings. We know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord. Don't you love the Lord?! Keep walking with Him. Lord help our unbelief and help us to walk with You like Enoch does. We serve a God that provided for Israel for 40 years in their wilderness experience. God is proving us in this season. Keep walking with Him. Trust and believe what He has said. Once you start walking then you can take off running, knowing that the race is not given to the swift but to he that endures until the end. Walk with the Lord. Hallelujah! Keep walking fiveamprayer, keep walking. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. Walk in this word today. Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you. Have a blessed day!
