A Little Doubt Can Destroy Everything.

Matthew 17:20, 21:21; Mark 16:16, 9:24; Luke 17:6; Matthew 17:17; Mark 9:29, 6:6; Matthew 4:4; Luke 17:5; Galatians 2:16-20; Ephesians 2:8; Acts 3:16; Matthew 24:35; Hebrews 11; Psalm 71:1; Joshua 1:8; Joshua 24:15; Hebrews 12:1; 1 Corinthians 15:31; Proverbs 24:16; 1 Chronicles 4:10; James 1:2

We are walking in today: A Little Doubt Can Destroy Everything.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Jesus rebuked the disciples for their unbelief and responds to their question, "Why couldn't we drive it out?" Jesus answered, "Because of your unbelief." Jesus replies in, Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And of course, it's important to have faith, to believe. As Jesus said to the boy's father, everything is possible to him who believes. But the father like many of us, wanted God to take responsibility for the healing. "Lord help us." Yet Jesus said, "If you have faith, you can heal him." We think healing the sick is God's job, but He wants us to do it. Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Look at how the Father responded in Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. The father is saying he has faith, but he also has unbelief. Unbelief nullifies faith. A little doubt can destroy everything. It's like two horses pulling a wagon in different directions. If you have faith in God's word, for example by His stripes you are healed, but you're stuck on the doctor's word, you will be dead in a week--your mountain isn't going anywhere. Your unbelief is canceling your faith. Let me tell you about Jesus, He will do it, suddenly! Jesus said, "Even a little faith is enough." Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. After identifying the problem (your unbelief) Jesus assured the disciples that their faith was not the issue. Even if their faith was the size of a little mustard seed, it would be sufficient to move mountains. The real obstacle was their unbelief. Jesus exclaimed in, Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. What He was saying, "You have faith, but it was undermined by your belief." Note that some translations interpret unbelief as little faith. How do you deal with unbelief? Starve it! Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Unbelief that arises from ignorance and bad theology can be corrected by showing people the truth. Mark 6:6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. But overcoming natural unbelief may require prayer and fasting. If your body is telling you what to think and believe (I'm hurting/I'm not healed at all) then deny your flesh by going without food. Your flesh needs to learn that it is not in charge, you are! By fasting for a time you are telling your five senses that there is more to life than bread. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. You're saying that you prefer to live by the spirit. Remember yesterday the spirit of God was leading them--fire by night, cloud by day. Don't miss the move of God, even in your wilderness, by your unbelief. Your fasting in prayer doesn't move God, neither does it move the devil. Fasting and prayer moves you. It affects you! You don't have a faith problem. What you have is an unbelief problem. Instead of trying to build bigger and bigger faith, we need to stop feeding unbelief. Today there is much emphasis on faith and getting more faith. This sort of teaching will leave you thinking, I'm not healed because I lack faith. Like the disciples we prayed in, Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And Jesus responds, in Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. "Your faith is not the problem. Even a little faith will get the job done." Why is our faith not the problem? Because it's His faith. Paul said He was justified by the faith of Jesus Christ, and now lives by faith of the Son of God. Galatians 2:16-20 16) Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17) But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18) For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19) For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Paul understood that his faith was a gift from God--Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. If you think there's something wrong with your faith, it's like saying God gives faulty gifts. When Peter healed the crippled man outside temple, he gave credit to the faith that comes from God. Acts 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. When there's a problem, a strategy of the devil is to get your attention on to fixing the thing that's not broken. If Christ lives in you, then there is nothing wrong with your faith. But you might have a problem with unbelief! Think about it this morning, are you walking in unbelief?! Read the scriptures for yourself. Tell God, "I have faith, help by unbelief. Help me not to waiver. I want to walk by faith and not by sight." Sometimes we are faced with tests, trials and tribulations we need help casting off our unbelief. He has put a name on this season--abundance. He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, He has power and control over our lives. Lord, help our unbelief! Help us to walk this out Lord. It is the God who creates a way of escape for us. Do you believe it, let go of unbelief. Help us to truly walk in faith, trusting in You Lord, standing on Your word. He has given us this guarantee--Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Are we standing and trusting in something eternal? Standing on the Rock of Ages? Or looking for something in the natural to stir up our faith!? Hebrews 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We can no longer trust what we see or previous worldly experiences. We have all seen God move in our lives, seen the testimonies all throughout the bible. We must stand on the knowledge that He has shared with us in His word. Taking all other options off of the table. As Pastor Taffe said on Sunday, that holding your peace looks crazy next to giving a piece of your mind. We are called to walk by faith and stand on His word. Cast off unbelief! It only serves the devil--we must cast off all doubt and confusion. Psalm 71:1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Jesus tells us that all we need is a grain of mustard seed faith. Help us Lord to keep our mind stayed on You, where You give peace that surpasses all understanding. Help our unbelief. We have already been given a measure of faith. Help our unbelief. You may want to call yourself into a fast. We come to turn over everything to God. We come to walk this word out. Let us stand together on You word, secure in faith. When we don't know what else to do we know that He shall supply all of our needs. The Lord will never leave nor forsake us. He makes a way out of no way. We must stand on the word, carry it with as we go--that is why we are to meditate on the word day and night. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Lord, cast out the unbelief, doubt, worry and fear--these are things the world has given us and we want to cast them out. We are only accepting the good and perfect gifts from above. Thank You Lord! Eyes have not seen nor ears heard what the Lord will do in our lives!! We are walking by faith and not by sight. Casting off all unbelief, the devil is a liar and the father of all lies. We know that greater is He that is within us than he that is in this world. The Father is the potter and we are the clay, He knows our expected end. If we believe--only, then we shall receive. We can not plant and uproot at the same time. Just the same we can not believe and unbelieve. The Greater One lives on the inside of us! How can we doubt?! Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? The Creator of the whole world is the highest of the high, surely we can trust and believe Him! We must annihilate unbelief, everything will fail due to just a little doubt or unbelief. Fiveamprayer, we don't have time--God is on the move and we have to be ready to take up the camp and follow Him. No time sit in the camp and consider whether or not we should follow the Living Word. Don't waiver in the word of God. Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Fiveamprayer, we have to have this settled, like Joshua who will you serve, who will you follow? Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. How heavy is it to pull on a rope with equal force in opposite directions?! How much farther would you be if you would only pull on the faith side and severing the unbelief side?! What we think governs our actions. Are you setting a bad example for others? Don't be double minded, you have got to walk this word out! Cry out to God, "help Thou my unbelief!" Tell Him,"I believe You, Lord!" Stand on His word and believe it. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. This morning he came to steal the word, messing with the line, then unbelief may rise up trying to kill your faith--God gives us warning, be on watch!! This word will free us, walk in it! Help my unbelief, God. He is a way maker. There is nothing impossible for God. Who the Son sets free is free indeed. We must crucify our flesh. We should be dying daily to the flesh as Paul tells us in, 1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. Help our unbelief. It is not our faith that needs to be dealt with, it is our unbelief. Hallelujah! We believe and trust You. Sometimes we fall short, we have Your word and direction on that also, Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Fiveamprayer, get up and walk in this word. Believe in His word. He is the way out, the only way. It is the Lord that turns things around, late in the midnight hour. You have got to believe. We lift up prayer requests, have them to believe the word of God--yes you have faith, but do you believe? Jabez believed what God said, that is why he could make his request.

We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Welcome to the overflow....
His request was granted because he believed, with no doubts. The Lord will turn things around--do not doubt. The devil didn't want us to get this word this morning. You have got to believe what the word says. From Genesis to Revelation--do you believe it? Then you shall receive it. There is favor over your life. Do you believe it? Believe the word of God, what did God say about it? To believe the word, you have to also read the word. Get out of doubt, this kind only comes out by prayer and fasting. Crucify your flesh, line up with His word. Hallelujah! I believe what God has said in His word. The devil is a liar, he is trying to get you to walk in doubt and fear. We are to walk by faith and not by sight! Run in the race you have been given, focus on where the Lord leads you! Walk in the sound mind that God has given you, He keeps us in perfect peace. Hallelujah! Thank You Lord for the divine destiny connections. It is not our faith but our unbelief that has to be dealt with. The devil is trying to get you caught up in doubt. Don't speak against the word of God. I believe what God said. He will open up a window and pour out blessings that there will not be room enough to receive. We know that all things are possible for Him! He came to bring us life more abundantly, in His presence. We are to get our thousand fold return. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy! You can't get in fear or doubt--believe God! We are blessed going in and coming out. Fiveamprayer is blessed and highly favored! Speak, believe and walk in this word today. If someone comes up to with concerns about lay offs and the economy--tell them, "I believe what God said, that I am fearfully and wonderfully made! That there is no weapon formed against me that shall prosper. The weapon may form but it will not prosper! I believe it because God said it!" Hallelujah God! Believe, I got faith--help my unbelief. All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord. When things look like they are not gonna turn out as you expected, don't get in doubt. God is in control, nothing catches Him by surprise. You may wanna fast today, to cast off unbelief. In your marriage, tell God that the unbelief is over, I know that You are a God of reconciliation. In your finances, that He is our Provider, that unbelief is over, my faith is totally on the Creator of all things! Thank You Lord! Help our unbelief. Jesus told the disciples it is not your faith but your unbelief. Don't pray and then walk around in doubt. The joy of the Lord is your strength--you better get into His presence and regain your strength! As the scripture tells us in, James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. That is the response that God is looking for us to have. Hallelujah God! We are at awe of You, Lord. Thank You Jesus, help our unbelief. Where ever there is doubt, ask God to help you, in marriages, finances--anywhere. Every time that Jesus did something He asked, "do you believe?" When unbelief is cast off, you can walk with holy boldness, in His word. We have to walk this one out. The race is not given to the swift but to he that endures until the end. The Lord, has led captivity captive. Get out of fear and doubt, your response should be--I will believe what God said. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard against it. I believe what God said. There is commanded blessing in unity. When two or three gather in His name, He will be in the midst also. We have more than that on this line. Fiveamprayer, we must stand on one accord, on this one! We are getting our breakthrougths and blessings. I believe what God said, help my unbelief. What a mighty God we serve! God will not be hindered! The devil tried to stop this word from going out with problems on the line. This is the abundant time of the God--He is filling us with knowledge, wisdom and understanding. We have joy unspeakable. Think about it, Jesus asked do you believe before doing anything. Get out of unbelief--doubt and fear. We will fast till noon to get this unbelief out of us. Have a blessed day.
