We are walking in today: Girded For Battle.
2 Samuel 22:40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. Girded is defined to encircle with a belt or band: to fasten, secure, or bind. Sounds like fiveamprayer--the chain that links us together. When we started out almost three years ago we called ourselves the prayer circle. God laid the foundation for fiveamprayer from the beginning. Yesterday we walked in God favors our righteous cause, now today He has girded us for battle. I want you to close your eyes for a moment, can you feel God's presence encircling you right now!!! He has made us steadfast unmovable--always abiding in His word. Encircle, fasten, secured, and bound to His word. On Jesus the solid rock we stand!!! Psalm 30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness. Come get your praise on!!! We will dance like David danced!!! Psalm 65:6 Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power. He has given us Holy Ghost Power!!! Psalm 93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Fiveamprayer not only are we covered, we are encircled and surrounded by God's grace and mercy abundantly. A circle has no beginning and no ending. The chain that links us together, the divine destiny connection!! Encircled By God!!!! Girded on every side. Psalm 109:19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually. Eyes has not seen!!! It's endless!!! Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. It's your time!! It's your season!!! Get ready!! Get ready!!! Get ready!! Grace and mercy!!! We must stay girded in the truth. Ephesians 6:13-14 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. We need to prepare ourselves with the truth, if we are to be victorious in spiritual warfare. The armor of God described in the terms of pieces of a Roman foot-soldier's uniform. The Roman soldier had flowing robes that needed to be belted and secure to the body so that the soldier could be ready to fight. The belt would be tied around the waist indicating that the soldier was preparing for action. The belt had very practical use. A short tunic was tucked in and it also helped keep the breastplate in place. Also, from it a sword was sheathed. Paul says to gird our loins. We don't express ourselves that way anymore, but it carries the idea of preparation. The same word is used by Peter as he exhorts us to get ready for action in our Christian life. 1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Mental preparation is critical. We need to discipline our minds and our hearts for the Christian life. We are told to prepare our minds with the truth, or truthfullness!!!! Truth is the objective--it is the gospel by which we are saved. Our preparation for battle is a firm grasp and conviction of the gospel!!! Gird up fiveamprayer for Battle!!! Amen, Lord!!!!
God has girded us on every side. That's why it is already done. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Fiveamprayer you should have strength--we are girded for battle. We are surrounded, encircled and protected by His Spirit and mercy. We are not gonna back down, nor turn around. We serve notice to the enemy this morning, we are waging war!! We are tired of principalities coming against us! We are girded for battle. The greater One lives on the inside of us. Gird yourself up for battle, fiveamprayer!! Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Don't turn around--stay in the race, continue until the end. We shall reap the harvest, if we faint not! God is standing and surrounding us on every side. We are held fast by a nail. The enemy has been trying to come against us. We know that nothing can overcome us, for the Lord is with us. He has put the enemy under our feet. Stand on God's word. Seek a closer relationship with the Lord. Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. We have been given power and authority by our heavenly Father, over the enemy! We are girded up for battle and can't no devil in hell stop us! We lift up fiveamprayer, we are preparing for spiritual warfare. Walk in the word of God, with the whole armor of God on. Don't give up--be girded for battle. Make ready all that you need to fight! We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. We lift up Marissa Grant, by His stripes she is healed. We must always reply to the Lord, "nevertheless, Thy will be done." This is a battle, take your battlefield position, on your knees. We are fastened by a nail, encircled with His presence, surrounded by His Spirit and covered in the blood of Jesus. Fiveamprayer, we are ready for battle!

Jabez knew it was a fight. That is why he asked for God's hand to be with him. Jabez knew that it was his season for breakthrough, he asked to be blessed indeed! He feared no evil, for God was with him. Where is your faith?! Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Faith is part of being girded for battle. Sarah walk into that hospital for surgery today, declaring complete healing--there is so much more left for you to do. We are covered by the blood, in the name of Jesus. We are fastened by a nail--He won't let us fall. We are covered, fiveamprayer, in the name of Jesus. God has us covered--walk in the word of God. The word will keep you. Gird yourself--the battle is not yours, was never yours, it is the Lords. Start swinging your sword, girded by God and surrounded by the blood. We are girded for battle. Get ready! Get ready!! Get ready!!! Who the Son sets free--is free indeed! There is no weapon that can come against us! We are girded for battle. Walk in this one today! Have a blessed day.
