We are walking today: I Have Learned To Depend On God.
2 Corinthians 8:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality. In this season of abundance you must learn to depend on God. I know with our natural eyes we see recession, depression, natural disasters, loss of jobs, sickness--but God!!! All we need to do is depend on God completely!!! This comes with our new way of thinking. Trouble in your marriage--but God!! Step aside and let God work it out. Sometimes we want to get in and assist God. God does not need your help. If you are in the way God will not move on your behalf. God is a jealous God and there will be no gods before Me and that includes you!!! Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Depend means to rely on God!!! Rely means to be dependent, to have confidence based on experience. We can be confident by our experience with God. Rely also means to place or have faith. I have learned to depend on God!!! Philippians 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We can depend on God with every prayer request made. Philippians 2:30 Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me. Even in death we can depend on God through Christ resurrection!!! Somethings in your life that you thought was dead--how about you depend on God for the resurrection, right now!!! Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I know the scripture said, But God!!! That's how you know you can depend on God, because whatever your situation is right now, fill in the outcome with, But GOD!!!! Marriage in trouble, But GOD!! No job, But GOD!!! Financial trouble, But GOD!!! He shall Supply!!! Depending on God takes faith!! When you depend on someone you have faith in them! When you have faith, it means you believe. This is same with God. You have to believe that He can take care of you and your situation. Let God work, many times, when we depend on God, we think He is isn't moving fast enough so we take matters into our own hands. God will lead us to solutions or make a way out of no way in our situation!!! Learn to depend on GOD!!!!!
Depend on Him totally, fiveamprayer. Say, "I'm gonna depend on the God, of my experience." For any situation that you are going through, fill in the outcome with--but God. We are to depend on God, not our natural eyes--2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:). Whether you are facing situations in your marriages, finances or yourself the outcome is--but God. He is the same God that had the children of Israel walk across the Red Sea on dry land, raised His Son Jesus from the dead, called forth Lazarus from the tomb. We can depend on Him, fiveamprayer, we must hold to the scripture: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. It is the Lord that creates a way out of no way. The same Lord that lifts up a standard, when the enemy comes in like a flood. There is no weapon that is formed against us that shall prosper, because the Lord had declared it. Fiveamprayer, we have a God we can depend on. Psalm 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Stop depending on yourself, your job, your bank account--stop trying to work it out . Let go and let God--get out of the way. Like Job says, in 13:5, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. God can't even lie, as Numbers 23:19 tells us, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Depend on Him, fiveamprayer. The truth shall make you free. Now is the time, fiveamprayer, to depend on what Isaiah 50:7 says, For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. We know that if it wasn't for His grace and mercy, we would be consumed. Thank You Lord for being a way maker. Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. We may not know the outcome, but God does! Depend on God--we have come this far by faith. Do a self check today--Have you been depending on yourself? or God? Lord, let us get behind You and take up Your will. We are Your empty vessels. Fill us with Your word and Your presence. Depend on His word--Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Don't depend on people or the world, they are both subject to change. You better get someone dependable to depend upon!! Someone steady, like a rock--Exodus 17:6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Thank You Lord for Jesus, our Rock, our Lamb, our Shepherd--always there for us and with us!! Hallelujah! Praise Him! Fiveamprayer, it is not over, until God says it is over!! That is how we know that we can depend on Him--the decision is all in His hands. He is the Lord God Almighty! All power and might is in His hands! Don't depend on man to fill the empty places. Stop seeking answers everywhere else! God is waiting for you to get out of the way. Many of us are like a child that wants to help clean up a mess, but their efforts make the mess bigger. Fiveamprayer, step aside--let our heavenly Father take over. Once you have taken your hands off of the situation, (showing that you trust Him) He will handle it. Depend on God, He knows you! Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. We can have peace in the middle of a storm--depending on Him. Move out of the way, let God do His work!! Fiveamprayer, gets up early every morning seeking a word from You, Lord. We know that all sufficiency lies in You. We don't look anywhere else for answers or satisfaction. Show us where we are going astray. Lord lead us back to Your way--the right way. Psalm 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Help us to see Your face, continue to seek Your face. Depend on Him completely, fiveamprayer. Take your hands off of the situation. God is whispering in our ears, "depend on Me." John 10:4-5 4) And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5) And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. Lord we lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. Have them to know that You are our way out, Lord, the only way. He is still a miracle worker, who can go from zero to suddenly! That is the God that we serve, fiveamprayer! 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. Do you wanna know why Jabez received what he requested? He depended on God and cried out in faith. When your money runs out, favor keeps on spending. Make another request. The Lord named this season abundance. We confess, "abundance is God's will for me and I will not settle for anything less." Welcome to the overflow, the scales have been taken off of our eyes. Fiveamprayer is depending on Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Tsidkenu, Elohim. Depend on Him in your marriages--marriages are under attack, they are being pressed and tested. Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Seek God in your situation, not the mere opinions of man. Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Depend on God only! Don't depend on man. Glory to Your name! We are set free, because Jesus lead captivity captive. John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Depend on Him, as Proverbs 3:6 tells us, In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be quiet. Be still. God is directing you. Depend on God in spite of what the world is doing. You better depend on God!!! It if had not been for the Lord on our sides, where would we be?! If it was not for His grace and mercy, we would be consumed. We seek You first, depending on You to send us Your Spirit. Forgive us for thinking we could handle things ourselves. Thank You Lord for teaching us the good and the right way. When You forgive it is as far as the east is from the west. Thank You Lord for being patient while we learn to forgive others--to release them and to be forgiven ourselves.
