Empowered By God!

We are walking in today:  Empowered By God!

Colossians 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.  Look what an infallible word from God will do--it will empower us!  The devil wants to take your communication out.  The enemy never wants you, to use God's word--which is infallible!  Ever dealt with circumstances or people that have left you totally drained and lacking energy, in your service for God?  I have, although I try hard to support and encourage people.  There are times when it seems like everyone in the world needs my attention.  Don't get me wrong, I love to help--but sometimes you get to the point where you can't talk to one more person.  There is nothing left to give, you need a strength that transcends your own.  Colossians 1:11, offers such strength in this verse, Paul prays that believers would be strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power for all patience and long suffering with joy.  This part of the text shows us that we should rely, not on our own strength, but upon God's inexhaustible supply.  This is not a one time deal.  The original wording implies continuous need and continuous supply.  God does not come and say need some strength?  Here is a booster shot, now come back in a year.    It is more like a IV with a continuous flow.  God continually gives us the strength we need.  The phrase, according to His glorious power,  could be paraphrased, empowered by God's inexhaustible reservoir!  There is never a time when we come to God and He says, "I am kinda short right now.  Could you come back on Friday?" His resources for us are limitless!  When do we need strength the most?  Notice the purpose given at the end of this verse--for all patience and longsuffering with joy.   We need God's strength so we will be patient during trials.  Now patience is not rocking chair acceptance, 'oh well, here we go again.'  It is more like a solider,: active and unrelentless in their endeavor that they won't quit, won't stop, won't run away nor fail.  Patience is the God given ability to remain under something no matter how hard it gets.  Sometimes it is not the circumstance but the people.  Whereas patience is getting through difficult circumstances, longsuffering is dealing with difficult people.  It is the virtue in the face of provocation.  Job went through a major trial and lost everything except the one thing he should have lost--his wife.  She was the worst wife in the Bible!  While Job was trying to bear up under everything, she said to him, 'hey Job, curse God and die'.  What kind of wife is that?!  We need strength not only to get through difficult circumstances but also to handle the difficult people in our lives, in a way that honor's Christ. 
Give thanks to God right now!  He has empowered us with an infallible word!  We have gotta know that patience has to have it's perfect work.  You got to have patience!  You have got to hold on, to endure!  Look to God, He will strengthen you!  At our weakest that is when He is at His strongest!  We are empowered by God!  Empowered to walk things out!  We get up every morning  not giving up, not quitting, not turning back!  We get up every morning to fight this devil!  The same enemy that is seeking whom he may devour, that wants to sift us like wheat.  We are empowered by the word of God!  We know that from Genesis to Revelation, there is a word that will strengthen us!  We don't have to worry about our own strength!  Because His strength is made perfect in our weakness!  He helps us to deal with every circumstance, trial, test, and tribulation.   God will come along side of you, fiveamprayer!  He is walking with us and helping us to fight this thing!  We will win this battle!  We will win this fight!  Yea and Amen!  I don't know about you, do you remember when God said the other day that we are living in the book of Revelation?  God has given us authority to trample all over the enemy!  Look at what God said in Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.  Sounds like we have already been empowered to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and have dominion over the earth.  Fiveamprayer, we are empowered by God!  We must speak what He said about us--over our lives!  He supplies all of our needs, so we are not like the world, running around in a panic--we are confidently resting in our provider, Jehovah Jireh!  Fiveamprayer, keep trusting God and standing on His word!  He will never change and He fails not!  We will cross over into the promised land!  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives! Even in our valley experience, He is making us better, stronger and wiser!  The race is not give to the swift, but to he that endures until the end!!  Longsuffering is a part of being empowered by God!  We have got to have patience, if you don't see it, it does not mean that it is not on the way.  His word shall come to pass.  The joy of the Lord is our strength!  Are you standing on His infallible word?  That same word that He watches over, to perform it?  That same word that will not come back void?  That same word that will accomplish what it was sent out to do?  Remember that we were blessed way back in Genesis, to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and have dominion--where is this doubt coming from?!  We walk by faith and not by sight!  Why are we letting our sight, have more control over us than His word?!  With time and other variables our sight can fail, His word never does!!  No matter what His word is accomplished, completed, shall come to pass!  We are not to fret or fear, we are to wait upon the Lord for renewed strength!  That is how we are empowered!!  Stand on His word, no weapon formed against us shall prosper!  We are coming out--we can do all things through Christ which strengthen us!  Thank You Lord!!  With all of Your might, You empower us!  Making us stronger and giving us an infallible word!  He is planting seed into good ground!  All things are working for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  This trial, tribulation, or test is teaching you to trust, believe and rely that He is God and will do all that He has said.  Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself.  Trust Him in your marriage--He is the God of reconciliation, we are to pray without ceasing--we are empowered to be better, stronger, and wiser!  So that you will be able to tell others how God restored your marriage!  That you held on to His unchanging word!  Kept pushing and stayed on the battlefield, on your knees!  He tells us, in Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.  You know that we get up early seeking the Lord on fiveamprayer.  We love You, God!!  You have done so much for us, even while we were yet sinners, You were reaching out to us in love.  Thank You for Your patience and longsuffering!  With everything that you have been through, you will come out not smelling of fire!  Remember that we have the fourth man in the fire!!  Praise Your name Jesus!  He is walking with us in this trial that we are going through--we will not be taken out, we are being built up!!  Thank You God!!  There is purpose for all of this, being made better by God--empowered by God!!  Hallelujah!  We will be so much better on the other side, better able to handle things--Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.  While you are going through are you looking to God?  Or looking for your own way out!?  We must call on His name for Him to hear us.  When we speak His word, that shows that we are trusting in Him.  He is looking for a people to love, trust and follow Him!  Is it you?  He has to build you up to make you a better person, we are nothing without Him.  That is why what we try outside of Him fails, whether quickly or eventually.  Our only success is in Him.  Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou we are in the valley of the shadow of death, we are walking through--this is not out end destination!!  He is walking with us so there is no fear of evil, in spite of being in the shadow of death--He is comforting us with His rod and staff.  That is how it looks, when you are walking with God and He is processing you.  Now take a look at this same scene on our own, without God:  walking in the valley of the shadow of death, there is fear for there is no comfort--is that where you are now?!  Call on His name He is looking for your call.  God is not gonna force His help and care on you.  Luke 15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  Look at this the son who went his way and got into his own valley.  When the wayward son turns back to the father, he is eagerly waiting to see him!  God is looking for you to return to Him!!  He is always ready to receive you with open arms.  Are you ready to recognize that your way is the wrong way?  God wants us to do this His way, He knows all there is to know and He knows the best way.  As the Creator of all things, He has a pretty good idea how to handle every situation.  There is nothing too hard for Him!  Nothing that He can not heal, restore, revive, or renew!  Your track record does not even come close!  Give it up and rely and trust in Him and Him only!  What God is bringing you through will make you able to stand in a similar situation.  God is proving you so that you will be able to handle more.  There is work to do and God is stretching us to get us closer to where He wants us to be.  That in all situations we know that God is with us!  That is why we can stand, because we are standing on His infallible word!  Then this morning He tells us that He is empowering us!  He told us this week that there is grace to save us in the pit.  God is bringing you out with more wisdom, knowledge and understanding!  You may need to lose some stuff to see what you are really made of.  Who are you really trusting in?  Some of us are being stripped to be empowered by God.  You are to have no god's before the Almighty!  We are not to make a way, we are to look to Him, trusting that He already has a plan and a way out.  What you are going through will be something you can share with someone else to help them see the hand of God moving.  Letting them know He did it for me, and He will do it for them!  Thank You Lord!  This is your testimony, share it with someone who is going through, let them know that God is a caring and loving God.  Call on Him, read His word and know that He will deliver you out of any and everything you are in!   Fiveamprayer, you are empowered by God!  Empowered to start that ministry.  Empowered to start that business.  You have come to know that it was no one but God that has kept you--the whole time!!  Thank You God!  He is empowering us, giving us His infallible word, letting us know that there is grace to save us in the pit.  That God is so great and awesome that He can bless us while we are in a situation that looks like we are not going to make it.  He is without limits--nothing is impossible, there is nothing too hard for Him!!  He told us that this year we will see--we will see His glory, see Him show Himself mighty!    No more walking around in unbelief or wavering in your faith!!  God is using this season to empower us!  While the world is going through a depression and a recession, God is speaking about the overflow!!  Fiveamprayer we are not of this world!!  Are you trusting in Him or the money?  Deuteronomy 8:17-18 17) And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. 18) But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.  How can you trust in something that is just that a thing--it is not living, nor can it create anything.  Not only we can not create our own wealth, the wealth comes from Him!  God is empowering us, but we must know where the power comes from.  He is taking us to a new level, so we need mustard seed faith.  We are being stripped to be build back up.  God is the potter and we are the clay.  We are to sit back and watch the hand of God in our life.  Will you murmur and complain or say the joy of the Lord is my strength!  That God is still keeping me!  You still woke up in your right mind, and have the activity of your limbs.  Not everyone got up this morning in there right minds, with their activity of their limbs.  We are empowered by God.  Walk in His infallible word!  He has come to tell us that we are coming out of this!  This is our time and season!  He creates the fruit of our lips--what are you saying?  It is time to cross over this Jordan.  Don't fold under the pressure.  Shake yourself, we are empowered by God!  We go through some things to see the power of God.  He is the provider not the money!  Take your eyes off of the stuff!!  He will strip everything away.  Don't be coming to the throne half way--He said come boldly to the throne!  Tell the devil it is my time!!  We are gonna take over!  Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.  Empowered by God!  Get ready to fight like never before, take over!!  There is no room for compromise!  He is Jehovah Jireh!  We are empowered by God!  I am talking about God is shaking somethings up.  Shake up for the wake up!!  Empowered by God!  Stop complaining--pray without ceasing.  God can change some one with your prayers.  Hallelujah God!  Empowered by God!  Taste and see that the Lord is good!  It is for your good--all things!  Thank You Lord!  You gotta thank Him for every test, trial, and tribulation that you go through.  The best part is that you are heading to another destination, this is just on the way to God's expected end for your life!  This is only for a time or season.  Thank You Lord for keeping us, and walking with us as we are going through!  The Lord has gone before us and made the crooked places straight.  Thank You God that we have been kept without a job, because He is creating the perfect job for us!  Many business would not have been started if we had not gone through what we have gone through!?  Many have faced everything taken away, but God!  He is always with us and mindful of us!  Hallelujah God!  Think on all of the good that He has done.  Would you have believed in healing , if you had not seen it for yourself?  Would you really believe that God is your provider if He had not kept you without a job and unemployment running out?  All that we experience is to show us that God has this all in His control.  We must trust Him and seek His word and see what He would have us to do.  We are not agents without someone to answer to.  There is the Lord, who we will answer to for all that we have said and did.    We are empowered by God, which means that the power is from God and He has given it to us!  2 Samuel 22:33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.  When others see us we can let them know that it is all by God's strength and power, He makes our ways perfect!  Thank You God!!  Praise His name!  The enemy thinks that we will break in this test, we may bend but not break!  It is all working out for our good!  Hold on to His word!  That is what is empowering you!  Rejoice in the unemployment line--God is making your way perfect!  Creating a position for you, a new business.  Even if you can't see it, rejoice in it.  Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.  Fiveamprayer, we are empowered by God!  He has made us stronger--you are able to speak to the storm, be quiet, be still.  We are coming out and and taking some stuff!  It is takeover time!  We are not taking back, we are taking over!!  It is 2012, He said that He has given us authority and dominion.  Psalm 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.  We are to pursue and take over!  That is why He has given us that as our focus for this year's conference.  This is our land!  Hallelujah!  We are here to take over, to conquer, to place a flag and put this territory under our authority that we received from God!  We have been empowered by God!  He is strengthening us--His strength is made perfect in our weakness.  Be patient, He is working it out.  Thank You Lord!  The joy of the Lord is our strength!  We got to have joy in every storm, trial and test.  I get joy when I think about what He's done for me!  Empowered by God in all things!  What the devil intended for harm, God turned it for our good!  If you had never lost then you would not understand how sweet it is to win!  We are to count our blessings, not our burdens!  Speak to the wind and storms, you have been empowered by God!!  We lift up fiveamprayer, thank You Lord for empowering us through the struggle.  Look at the children of Israel, they came out--not empty but with overflow!!    You don't know the cost of the precious oil in my alabaster box!  Empower them Lord, have them to know who You are.  We ask for forgiveness for breaking down and looking elsewhere.  We are empowered, for everything coming our way.  You have build us up that we can stand.  We can walk through the valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil!!  We can do all things thorough Christ which strengthens us!  Empowered by God!  Thank You Lord!  The scales have fallen off of our eyes!  We were once blind, now we see!  Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.  We shall reap the harvest, if we faint not!  We serve a God that waits patiently, with longsuffering.  Why would we not need the same characteristics?!  God is developing something on the inside of us, that will be able to come out and line up with the purpose that God has for our life!  Thank You God!  For every tear that you have cried, empowered by God.  Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning!  Get ready it is about to break day, in your situation!!  Praise Him!!  Empowered by God, it is for your good!  You will make it over, through--don't give up or stop trusting Him!  Thank You Lord, if it had not been for the Lord on my side where would we be?!  Don't you see, it was all for our good!  He is the only one that can take a mess and turn it into a masterpiece!  If you had not gone thorough this, you would not be able to stand.  He is building us up in this wilderness experience.  He is showing us that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!  The lessons that you learned through pain are not easily forgotten.  That is why God can't just give it to you, we have to walk through it to really get a good understanding that we must remain until we are developed to His liking.  Thank You Lord!

Thank You Lord!  For empowering us, by taking us through this way.  That we come to know you better and find that we are able to stand.  Speaking Your infallible word.  Finding grace to save in the pit.  All things are working for us!  We wanted to go another way, but God said no.  By coming out and what we have been through, we are empowered!  God was doing all of this to bring forth, what is already on the inside of us, that ministry, business, or organization.  We must line up with scripture and with the word.  Then God will come to empower us.  Thank You Lord!  Have blessed day.  Walk around all day today, knowing that you are empowered by God!
