Nothing Else Matters!

We are walking in today: Nothing Else Matters!

1 Corinthians 15:12-20 12) Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13) But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14) And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15) Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16) For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17) And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18) Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. There are relatively few things in life that ultimately matter. There is a sense of which everything matters because it's God's and He is Sovereign and Christ redeemed all of our lives. Sometimes it takes something really big for us to realize that the smaller things don't really matter. So what would not longer matter if Christ had not risen? Your faith would be in vain (1 Corinthians 15 :14-17). Well first of all, your faith would not matter, in fact the Bible says if Christ is not risen, then your faith is in vain. Look at verse 15, the Apostle Paul is writing about the resurrection and he says, if Christ be not risen then is our preaching in vain and your faith is also in vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. Paul was the first to admit it--if Christ had not been raised up, his preaching was useless and likewise our faith. Nothing else matters! I am fully persuaded, but if Jesus was not risen, His death on the cross is made meaningless. Your hope is hopeless (1 Corinthians 15:18-19). The Christian hope is of the resurrection. The Christian hope is that our loved ones who died in Christ, we will see them again. But if Christ is not risen, then our hope is hopeless. Your life lacks purpose (1 Corinthians 30:32). When Paul says he fought wild beasts, he is speaking metaphorically. He did not fight literally, wild beasts but faces persecution. Paul made many scarifies for the faith. He took risks: was put in prison for His faith, was flogged, beaten, stoned and shipwrecked. He experienced hunger and sleeplessness. Why? Because Christ was risen from the dead! He had a message to share and his sacrifices were worth it to him. Because the message is true! As believers in Christ we also make sacrifices, when we stand up for Christ. We face persecution for our faith. Paul wrote everyone who wants to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus, will be persecuted. Material gain does not matter. Life is no longer about possessions and acculminating more and more things! Matthew 6:19-21 19) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
You need to realize that nothing else matters! We are to walk by faith and not by sight. It is the Lord that provides all of our needs. Christ died and got up on the 3rd day--nothing else matters! Jesus came that we would have life and that more abundantly--nothing else matters! The things that are coming against us, in our marriages, finances, and children are distractions--nothing else matters! The God that we serve is a doctor in the sickroom and a lawyer in the courtroom, who has never lost a case! Nothing else matters! Hold on to His word and unchanging hand, keep seeking His face! Nothing else matters! Fiveamprayer, God is for us, what can stand against us?! Nothing else matters! Keep seeking His word, the word that stands forever! Nothing else matters! The enemy comes to attack you, be fully persuaded--God's word is true! He will hasten to His word to perform it. The Lord responds to His word. Nothing else matters! This same word can not be reversed nor come back void! His word will do all that He sent it to do. We serve the risen Savior, who took back the keys of the kingdom. This earth is not our home, we are just passing through--nothing else matters! Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Nothing else matters, fiveamprayer! We must put our focus back on God!! He brings us out of darkness, into His marvelous light! Nothing else matters! We are to lay up treasures in heaven--not here on earth. Nothing else matters! We must walk by faith and not by sight. Without faith it is impossible to please God! He is the God of reconciliation, call on Him in your marriage to restore that relationship. Call on Jesus and let Your enemies be scattered! Nothing else matters! Pray without ceasing, pray and not faint--nothing else matters! God answers every prayer that we send up. The devil wants us to be distracted. That is why we must be still and know that God is God! Look to the Father that gives us our daily bread, nothing else matters! There is still power in the blood--nothing else matters! Greater is He that is within me than he that is in this world! Nothing else matters! Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. God is with us! Thank You Lord! Nothing else matters! Hold on to His word! Be fully persuaded, He is a buckler! Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Nothing else matters! He is a keeper of our minds in perfect peace with our minds stayed on Him!! Nothing else matters! That is why the enemy wants to get in our minds and take our focus off of God. The Lord is bringing us out, from the going through! He will put us back together, nothing else matters! We talk about what we don't have instead of speaking about our Intercessor, it is already done and finished! Nothing else matters! Why are you worried or fretting?! Joy comes in the morning! The joy of the Lord is our strength! Nothing else matters! Come hell or high water, God will lift up a standard against the enemy. We serve the God of overflow and increase, there is no lack! Nothing else matters! He is a God of favor, mercy and grace! The enemy wants us to be caught up in everything else and take our mind off of God. Wrong, we keep our minds stayed on Him and in perfect peace! Nothing else matters! Fiveamprayer serves the Living God! The devil has been put under our feet, God has spoken a word and given us power that we are to trample all over the enemy! Nothing else matters! Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all! God told us we would suffer persecution--it is all in His word. Why are you in fear?! The devil is already defeated! Keep walking and trusting God--nothing else matters! Line up with His word. Tell yourself that nothing else matters! Seek God first, His righteousness, kingdom. Lord we ask for You to send the increase. You took 5 loaves and 2 fishes and fed more than 5,000 people. You gave sight to the blind and healed those that the doctors said were without hope of recovery. We serve a God that will turn it around, late in the midnight hour. Nothing else matters! He is risen! He is Alpha and Omega, El Shaddai, the Bright and Morning Star, nothing else matters! Thoughts that are trying to kill you, cast that off. God has better plans for you! Thank You Lord for having higher thoughts and plans for each of us! Hallelujah! Hold on to the truth--hold on to God! Nothing else matters! You get up every morning ready to fight--you do know that this is a battle! Be sure you suit up in the whole armor of God, we are to pursue and to take over!! Abraham did not stagger in his faith!! Like the woman with the issue of blood, she was fully persuaded that the healing she needed was in the hem of His garment. After spending all that she had and ending up worse. Going against all of the regulations she pressed and crawled to get to Jesus. Nothing else mattered! No looks or whispered conversations, was going to stop her! She was fully persuaded that Jesus has her healing and she was going to get it! Nothing else mattered!! We must pursue God like that, that nothing else matters. That we are stalking Him, hot on His trail and unshakeable, not letting go until He blesses us! Like Jacob in the desert, fighting all night with his old identity and coming into God's purpose for His life. Look to God, He will fix it. In every case He is the only one who can--not just a band aid but a real restoration! Nothing else matters! He is giving us living water, fiveamprayer! Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. We got joy on the inside, God is bringing us out! Look at children of Israel in the wilderness, their clothes and shoes did not wear out for forty years!! We serve a God who provides for us! Who can keep us in the wilderness. Jabez called on the God to be blessed indeed! Keep walking, fiveamprayer! Nothing else matters! Thank You God! Thank You! Thank You! We are standing on the promises, that He will never leave us or forsake us! Nothing else matters! We will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Nothing else matters! There is no weapon formed against us that shall prosper! Nothing else matters! He knew us before we were shaped in our mother's womb--nothing else matters! God is the way out of no way! Look at Daniel in the lion's den, the Lord shut the mouth of the lions! David slew Goliath with one stone, because God was with him! Nothing else matters! Hallelujah! He came that we would have life more abundantly! He taught us how to pray to the Father. Our response must be, nevertheless, Thy will be done! God gets the glory! Nothing else matters! We are to cast our cares on Him for He cares for us! We must let go and let God! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Nothing else matters! We all fall short of the glory of the Lord. It was all nailed to the cross! Nothing else matters! God even forgives us with no condemnation! We must learn to be content where ever we are! Let this mind be in you which is in Christ Jesus! We lift up fiveamprayer, have this word really drop down into their spirits. That they are able to stand and say that I don't care about this storm! Even placed in the pit of fire, we will come out not smelling of smoke! Nothing else matters! We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, we know that You are the Great Physician, others are practicing, You are a healer! We look to You to turn things around! Forgive us Lord for our wrongs and teach us to forgive like You do. How can we hold back forgiveness when we sin every day!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: I'm at a point in my life where nothing else matters, but God!
