We are walking in today: Work out your own salvation.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Let's walk through what God has given us this week: Grace to save us in the pit; Are you prepared for winter; God has given us an infallible word; Empowered by God; then today we have, work out your own salvation! We must work it out, by the word of God. This is how we are going to work it out. By His grace, be prepared for winter, with an infallible word that empowers us. Now work it out. Wherefore my beloved as ye have always obeyed--see the Philippians had from the beginning manifest a remarkable readiness to show respect to the apostle, and to listen to the teachings. This readiness, he more than once referred to and commended. He still appeals to them and urges them to follow his council. That they might secure their salvation. Now much more in my absence, though they had been obedient, when he was with them--yet circumstances had occurred in his absence which makes their obedience more remarkable and worthy of special commendation. Work out your own salvation. Because God commands it. There is no command more frequently repeated, in the scripture than the command to make to ourselves a new heart. To strive to enter in at the straight gate, to break off from sin and to repent. It is a duty because it is out personal interest that is at stake. No one else has or cares as much in our salvation than we do. Our earthly friends can not save us! The is a work to be done on our own. With our hearts, that we only can do. Psalm 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling which is to be understood, not in such a sense that men could obtain or procure for themselves, spiritual or eternal salvation by their own works and doings. For such a sense is contrary to the scripture which denies any part of salvation as a election, justification calling the whole of it to be of works, but ascribe it to be the free grace of God. It is also repugnant to the perfection of God as His wisdom, grace, righteousness for where are the wisdom and love of God? And form in the scheme of salvation and sending His Son to the infected and after all--it is left to men to work it out for themselves. Where is the justice of God, admitted of the imperfect righteousness in the room of a perfect one which must be the case. If salvation for the requisition of merit are wanting in them, more over with salvation to be obtained, by works of man? These consequences would follow--the death of Christ would be in vain; boasting would be encouraged in men; they would have wherefore to glory in their obligations to obedience--taken from the love of God and the redemption of Christ would be weakened and destroyed. Add to all of this, that the scriptures assure us that salvation is alone by Christ and it is already finished by Him and not to the wrought out. Nailed by Him, not any other and that such is the weakness and importance of men--even of believers to whom this exhortation is directed. That it is impossible for them to ever affect it therefore, what ever sense these word's have we may be sure that this can never possibly be the sense of them. Considering the difficulty of the work and danger of the miscarriage, if you do not watch, pray and continually depend on God. Your enemies will surprise you and your light and life will become extinct. Then consider what an awful account you must give to Him, who's spirit you may grieve and to who's glory you may become short of. It is time to work out your own salvation!
It is time to ask God to clean you up on the inside. Starting with your heart. To make you over, to give you a clean heart that you may serve Him with all that is on the inside of you. Sometimes you just gotta ask God--make me over again! I'm trying to work out my own salvation. You have got to get this one for yourself! Work it out for yourself! You have got to encourage yourself! His grace is sufficient! We are empowered to walk it out! Work out your own salvation! We are living in the last days. You know that faith without works is dead--Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Each and every one of us will have to stand before God and give an account. To get this right with God, seek Him in scripture. Really trust Him and walk in this word! He will show up mighty! Through, Him we can do all things and all things work together for those that love the Lord!! Thank You God!! What are you doing, you should be turning things over to God, getting up and seeking Him! It is God that stands with you in the midst of if all. He told us--James 2:17-18 17) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18) Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Fiveamprayer, work it out! We should be running to the Bible and not the phone! How do we work it out, walk through the Bible! From Genesis to Revelation all that you need, will experience is all in there. God knows the plans that He has for you. This is only a surprise to you! Look at the Psalms we find that the Lord is our Shepherd, then turn to Philippians we learn that we have to work out our own salvation. Go over to Genesis and find that the Father, our Creator already gave us dominion. Work it out! There is a day that we will stand before God. You came down from heaven that we would have life and that more abundantly. God is looking for a people that will stand and trust Him. People who get up early truly seeking His face! They are the ones that will stay in this race! Work on your faith! We are to walk by faith and not by sight. We have to come to know that God supplies all of our needs!! He is Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, Emmanuel, He is omnipresent!! But there are somethings that we have to work out ourselves! God is calling us higher, are you answering? There are some things that can not go with you to the next level. All of this preparation is for us to be ready! To be able to move, immediately when He speaks. We have to really walk in forgiveness! Get in position!! Stop waiting for everything to be done for you! How can you receive God's blessing if you are out of position?! Are you working on your relationship with God?! He is still answering our thoughts. Are you asking God, while working it out? Stand, fiveamprayer!! You may bend but you won't break! Thank You Lord! You said that the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. There are so many souls that are lost and need to hear a word from God. A word that they can bring them out of the darkness, into His marvelous light! Give them your testimony! To God be the glory, for the things that He has done! Work on those eternal things of God, that is the only thing that will last! Take a stand, the word covers and protects us! We have to work out our own salvation, for ourselves. We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us! The Lord that we serve is a healer and He answers prayers. Do you know Him for yourself? Would you be ready if He came back right now!? What are you doing to impact the kingdom of God?! When is the last time you called up someone to share a scripture with them? He gives us daily bread, fiveamprayer we have to work this out! Some of us have been starving our spiritual man, only eating snacks here and there of the word. God has given us a feast in the Bible--how can you not consume the word daily? That is the one thing that we need on the inside of us--that makes a difference in every situation! The Bible was inspired by God and written by men, it covers everything! If you have not found it yet, keep looking it is there. Ask Him to revel it to you--this is the season of revelations! Go on and try Him for yourself! He may not show up when you want, but He is always right on time! Try Him, instead of calling on everyone else. Psalm 73:23-25 23) Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. 24) Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. 25) Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. That is how we should be, we walk continually with Him, in His counsel, desiring nothing else! Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Whatever we need, it is God that supplies it. He told us that in 2012 we will see, how are you gonna see if you won't try Him!? We have to work this out, turn it over to Him, serve the most high God! You have to serve before you can lead! Ministry takes a changed heart. It also takes your ears to hear God. Work it out for your own salvation. The harvest is plenty, the laborers are few. Some of us are looking for harvest but are not doing the work. This race is not given to the swift but to those that endure until the end. Work it out for yourself. We are empowered to work it out. There is grace to save us in the pit. Work it out! Hallelujah! This is the year that we will see! Work your faith, be anchored in His word, pray without ceasing, not giving up--working it out! Wait on Him, He will renew your strength, you will be able to run and not be weary, to mount up on wings like an eagle. What are you doing? Working it out--my salvation! Let's look at the same scripture in the amplified version--Philippians 2:12(AMP) Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ). We must get our eyes off of self and focus on God! The one and only judge! Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Ask Him to fix your heart. Teach us how to truly forgive and walk as You would have us to walk. To always seek You first. I am working it out for myself! God is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle, He is coming back for us! Show us in the spirit, Lord. We are directed to worship You in spirit and in truth. Work out own salvation! Take a look in the mirror and you should see Christ more and more. Work it out! Fix our hearts, Lord! Get us cleaned up! Jesus warns us to be careful of helping others with their issues while ignoring your own! Luke 6:41-42 41) And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42) Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye. We each must stand before God and give an account. Get right with God, do it now!! Ask Him, He will show you how! It is time, somethings need to fall off and be cleaned up. How can you be worried about others when you have plenty to take care of in your life? Stay in the race, our response will be nevertheless, Thy will be done! We must keep seeking, asking, knocking. We should be chasing God, stalking Him, like an ex that can't let go!! He is the best thing that ever happened to us! The difference is that the restraining orders will be against the tricks and traps of the enemy. God will respond to our pursuit of Him--that dedication, that love of being in His presence and study of His word. Just sitting there saying, God, I just want to know more and more about You! Ask Him to create in you a clean heart and a right spirit. We really need to see things His way. To walk as He would have us to walk, speak as He directs us! Only God can do it, we can not do this ourselves! Work out your salvation, seek God--in prayer and in His word! We lift up fiveamprayer they are going to work it out! You know what they stand in the need of, Lord. Bless them and keep them. We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, we are standing on healing for those that are trusting their health to You! We are working our faith, standing believing and claiming total recovery and wholeness in all areas! We won't complain, we rejoice and count it all joy! We are Your earthen vessels, fill us God til we want no more! We come to ask for forgiveness and to repent, strip us of doing things the world's way. Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation. We must keep our mind stayed on Him. Cast down every vain imagination that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God! Thank You for brand new mercies in this new day! Work it out! We got to do it for ourselves. We must work on forgiveness, really get this one down!! Those in your family, former close friends and anyone else. Work it out, we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony! We have to stop going to church and looking at others crazy, work it out! You are quick to judge, work it out! Look at you, judging that woman, who wore the only thing that she had to church. Instead of judging her, why not help her out?! Take your eyes off of others, you don't have it all together, either! Fiveamprayer, it all starts with your heart. Some times we don't want to forgive others that we feel that we have not done anything wrong. Look at Jesus on the cross, asking the Father to forgive them that are crucifiying Him! He who knew no sin, crucified. Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Do you realize that forgiveness is for you to be released? While you are sitting there upset, plotting and scheming, they could very well be living a nice life. Or not even be aware of the wrong that has had you upset for how long?! Don't let the lies of the devil, hinder your prayers, or your walk and relationship with God. Do you know that the devil is not required to listen to your rebuke if you are walking in unforgiveness! God tells us that we are not forgiven it we don't forgive. To gain God's forgiveness it is definitely worth forgiving everyone who has wronged you! Remember that we could not pay the cost for what we have done. Forgive them even if they won't apologize, forgive to free yourself from unforgiveness! You have got to get this right--2 Chronicles 7:14(AMP) If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. We have to walk in humility, God is not anywhere near pride. Repentance should be a daily thing. You know that the thoughts that you think are not right! This is how you work it out. Let it go, forgive them--that bad relationship, it was not what God has for you. God can't use you if we are still holding on to past hurts. Show God what you are working with--work it out. Get yourself right! Hallelujah! Before you pray for someone else, expose the enemy! Look in the mirror, the enemy could be you! No more looking around, you got to answer to God for yourself. Let's work it out, cross over into the promised land.
