Thus Said The Lord.

Matthew 11:7-10; 2 Timothy 4:2; Exodus 16:10; Isaiah 55:11: 1 Corinthians 1:25; 1 Peter 5:7

We are walking in today:  Thus Said The Lord.

Matthew 11:7-10 7) And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 8) But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses. 9) But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10) For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.  Thus said the Lord.  For the most part, God's prophets had been men of the wilderness.  At some point in their peculiar ministry, they had went through and into the wilderness, away from the world.  They were set apart for a special work, in the wilderness.  Almighty God fashions the character of His servant.  Making them obedient vessels, who in season and out of season--are ready for the Master's use.  2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  They become prisoners of the Lord.  Welcome to the wilderness.  For most people the wilderness is a desert full of sand and cactus, mountains.  And only for the adventurous in spirit.  It can be a vicious place, to all forms of life--human, plant and animal.  Only the most hardy can survive.  No soft disguises of civilization can survive here.  Wilderness life hones the nature of it's captives, revealing the true substance of the person--be it good or evil.  It is not a place for the fool hardy or the faint of heart.  But for a few the wilderness becomes a place of communion--for there is another wind that moves among it's hidden canyons and dry river beds.  Just as the eagle waits to feel the wind of the desert beneath it's wings, God's prophets retreat to the wilderness to await communion with the wind of His spirit.  The wilderness was the realm in which fiery prophets such as Elijah, Esau and John the baptist and others, who lived and moved in the great power of the Spirit of the Living God.  They mounted up with wings as eagles.  Soaring into the wilderness, it became the molding ground for the prophets.  Alone they wandered, through deserts, forests and mountains--awaiting God's command.  Each was the chosen mouth piece of the Lord.  When they spoke it was, thus says the Lord, to their generation.  Exodus 16:10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.  God begins to speak to them as He moved through the wilderness.  You gotta understand the reason why God took you through a wilderness experience.  It was to set you apart.  So that you will begin to speak out of your mouth, thus said the Lord!
Everything that comes out of our mouths needs to be thus said the Lord.  The Bible is written and inspired by God. What does God said about your situation?  While you are in the wilderness, He will speak to you.  You have gotta know Him for yourself.  You have to get in communion with God.  You will have a one on one with God in the wilderness.  He promised to never to leave us nor forsake us!  Do you know His promises?  We have to sit alone and apart, in the wilderness we find that every promise and word spoken by God will come to pass.  His word does not come back void.  Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  God is never leaving us, He is right here!!  Notice that many prophets would go out into the wilderness with God on a one on one.  We must be in constant communication with Him, in His word, seeking His face.  We should be in His word--in season and out of season!  He is going before us, as He leads us through the wilderness.  Fiveamprayer we are to have a one on one with God in the wilderness.  We are having holy communion with Him in the wilderness!  God is covering me!  Tell others who inquire about your situation what thus says the Lord.  Trust and believe the word that He has spoken.  Don't look to CNN, what did God says about it?!  Hold to the unfailing, never crumbling nor void word of the Holy One!    He is Jehovah Jireh, the Way, the Truth and the Life!  We must walk, speak, believe and trust the word of God!  There is power of life and death in your tongue!  Speak His word.  We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us!  We are coming out and crossing over this Jordan.  Jesus left us with the Comforter.  Thank You Lord!  He told us in His word, that there will be a time that He will pour our His Spirit on all flesh, now is the time!  Get in the wilderness and seek out His word!  We must suit up in the whole armor of God.  The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy!  Don't you know that this is a fight!  This is a battle!  Get in the word like never before!  We are victorious, He has already overcome the world!  We must read, study and meditate  on His word!  We are in the wilderness to learn as He is teaching, training and preparing us.  God is not a man that He should lie, nor the Son of Man that He should repent.  We must take time out and see what did God say about it?  That situation that you are in, is in the word of God.  Seek answers from the Creator, the Lord God Almighty!  The Lord is our Shepherd, we shall not want!  Greater is He that is within us, than he that is in this world.  1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.  God is building, restoring, and reviving us!!  What did God say, fiveamprayer!?  What word are you following?  What source are you looking to?  Putting your trust in?!  1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  The enemy wants us to think that we are losing, that it is over!  The devil is the father of all lies!!  What did God say?  It isn't over until God says it is over!!  Go to His word and see what He says about it?  Listen to His voice only and let others know what God says about your situation.  He will never leave nor forsake us!  We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown.  We know that You have enough healing in the hem of Your garment--just one touch and we will be made whole!  We lift up fiveamprayer for healing from every attack against our health and mental well being.  Lord, have us to only seek Your word.  Forgive us Lord, for thinking that we know a better way out of our situation.  Let us trust that You know better and all that there is to know.  Let us learn what it is You are teaching us, not trying to get out of the situation too soon with no new skills gained.  Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation, and casting our sins into the sea.

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:
We stand on Your Word!

Welcome to the overflow...

Every word you speak is true, Lord.  Hallelujah and glory to Your name!  Thank You for reminding us to stay in Your word.  We must be suited up from Genesis to Revelation, with the whole armor of God.  Try Him for yourself.  He is taking us through the wilderness to have a holy communion with Him.  What did God say?  Get ready for a mighty move of God.  We are on a one on one journey with God, in the wilderness.  He is taking us through!  It will come to pass.  Sit down at His feet and tell Him all about it.  He will tell you why you had to go through this way.  You got to meditate on this one!  Think about it--what did He say?  He told Joshua, Moses is gone, get up and cross over this Jordan.  Don't worry about what the world says.  What did God say?  We are set apart in the wilderness--God is trying to get our attention, by our marriages, finances and children.  He is speaking to you in the wilderness, a one on one communion.  God is taking us through the wilderness to bring us out.  We are set apart for His purpose.  Get in the word of God, seek Him in the scriptures--He will show up and do all that He has said.  Have a blessed day!
