We are walking in today:  The Accusing Tongue--How Clean Is Your Conscious?

This is one of the tongues that we use with rare restraint.  It does not take much for us to put the screws to a person that even has a whisper of wrong doing.  How do we sit being able to pass judgment on the speck in their eye while trying to see clear of that oak tree that clouds' our vision?!  We can see even in courtrooms the importance of getting and weighing all the evidence.  Those major cases that the crime was tried in the media, first--makes for a very  difficult jury selection.  If those who are to weigh the facts have 'their' own agenda the accused stands with no hope.  This morning Yahweh comes to tell us all the ways that the accusing tongue shows up.  Also to be aware that the one pointing the finger, as the saying goes has three pointing back at them.  All the more reason to listen quickly and be slow to speak.  For that selah moment gives us more time to 'see' what is speaking.  The flesh has much to say quickly and without restraint--this tongue fast has given us hard to hear truths about ourselves.  No matter how well meaning we may have been---take the correction and find yourself in right standing with Yahweh.  We can not continue to speak ill of what was created in His image!  The same protection that we have from Him--they have it too.  That is not our position to point out their faults, you have your own!  Don't allow the enemies agents to distract you from the path of His righteousness!  Yahweh's word is true--all true and nothing but true!  Yet we have listened to the lies and there is that crack that disobedience finds to push us out of His good and right way.  We have to really get this--out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks!  When we have hurt, pain, bitterness, anger in our hearts that is what is shows up in our words and colors the atmosphere around you.  Why do people not trust what you say when you are in being so nice?  They know that there is more to the situation and the 'real' will come out eventually.  Fiveamprayer, we have to deal with all that is out of order so that we can be fully restored and directed back to His path.  No longer rely in your intellect and wisdom--that our faulty smarts have propped us up for a dangerous fall.   Pause and consider all that you hear, about those famous people, family and friends.  We are to be His agents here on the earth and many if us don't know what we will tumble out of our mouths.  The power of life and death is in our tongues!  That is power over our lives, and those that we speak to as well.  The words of the King sets that rule of the kingdom!  Remember that we are the lower case kings and lords that He is King and Lord over!  We  should be walking in His footsteps so much so that people get us mixed up with Him!  You have heard that children take after their parent so much so that that they are even confused with the parent due to their behavior.  Fiveamprayer, is anyone getting you confused with Yahweh due to your behavior?  If you were to stand side by side with Adonai would it be hard to tell who is who?  By your speech?  How you treat others?  How you speak to yourself?  Take time out to review and seek Him for these answers that you will not be misled any longer!  To hear this again click here.
