The Fourth Commandment Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it .  Six days you shall work and accomplish all your work; the seventh day is Sabbath to the Lord, your God; you shall not do any work--you, your son, your daughter, your slave, your maidservant, your animal, and your convert within your gates--for in six day the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested the seventh day.  Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.

334. You shall have a holy convocation on the first day of Sukkot --Leviticus 23:35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
335. You shall not do any work on the first day of Sukkot --Leviticus 23:35
336. You shall offer the fire-offering on each of the seven days of Sukkot --Leviticus 23:26
337. You shall have a holy convocation on the eighth day of Sukkot-- (Shemini Atzeret) Leviticus 23:36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
338. You shall not do any work on the eighth day of Sukkot-- Leviticus 23:36
339. You shall take from the four species on the first day Sukkot-- (Lulav) Leviticus 23:40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
340. You shall dwell in booths for a seven-day period during Sukkot-- Leviticus 23:42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
341. You shall not sow your field during the seventh year-- (Shemittah) Leviticus 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
342. You shall not prune your vineyard during the seventh year-- Leviticus 25:4
343. You shall not reap the aftergrowth of your harvest in the seventh year-- Leviticus 25:5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

In our  study in the taming of the tongue we go to the book of Proverbs to learn how to handle the know it all tongue.  King Solomon, the son of King David  who was given great wisdom by Yahweh--writes to us about wisdom throughout the book Proverbs.  What we can find in this chapter of Proverbs that we must be able to have discipline and take correction.  This is a challenge for the know it all spirit.  They have have much time invested in there intellect and how others view them.  The folly of this thought pattern can easily switch to them being the ones in control, even over Yahweh Himself.  That is so very dangerous and will not bode well for them or their future generations.  For we must not forget that the things that we do wrong, in willful disobedience can effect our children and children's children.  Much the same as the honorable and good things that our forefathers have done we reap those benefits as well.  We have to understand that our actions do not only effect us, but those around us, our children and future generations.  The ability of our tongue to speak life or death can be seen so clearly in this chapter of Proverbs, we must not fall for the deceit of the centuries--that man knows best.  That we have all fallen prey to this idea to the point of downing another person to raise ourselves up.  That we have been in this position at anytime  and won't want to admit that we have operated or are still operating in this spirit.  How can you be instructed in His good and right way if you won't take correction?  Take time out this weekend to listen to this again and really take notes as you look in the mirror to see what you are reflecting back.  We are made in His image and likeness but what reflection do you see in the mirror.  That is where the correction comes in--we should be looking like our Father and doing the things that we see Him doing.
