The Rude Tongue, Consider Your Fellow Human Beings

We are walking in today:  The Rude Tongue, Consider Your Fellow Human Beings

We have to take a look at ourselves this morning, Fiveamprayer.  Do we make time to give people quality time in our conversations?  Are we too busy multitasking that we are ignoring one person while speaking to another.  How can we expect others to understand us clearly while we are having two separate conversations?!  This seems like an absurd situation, but how many of us have been on our cell phones while doing bank transactions or in the line at the store that the person is not sure if you are speaking to them the person on the phone?  How do they know who you are talking to?  The person on the phone is not clear that you are speaking to the teller or the cashier.  With the advancement of technology--have we forgotten that we are to treat others the way you want to be treated?  We are never happy to find that we are competing in a conversation to get the listeners attention.  We are unhappy to find the person that we are speaking to does not have time to listen to what we are saying.  That you have to repeat yourself because they were not listening and speaking to someone else.  How do you know if what you have said was heard or understood?  Now that we have considered others and will get of the phone once it is our turn with the teller or cashier, let's look at other areas where we are rude.
Do we over talk others?  Are we not able to listen and hear what the person is saying before making our reply?  Will we shout over them to be heard?  Do we speak in a normal tone and over-talk or disregard what they are saying?  How can there be open communication with others if they will not allow you to speak?  Which is certainly not listening to the other  person--this shows a lack of consideration.  Fiveamprayer we have to know that we are responsible for our actions we want to be considerate of others that they would be considerate of us.  Don't allow anything to change you--it is Yahweh who has put that on the inside of you.  We must be in actions, not reactions--especially stemming from our emotions.  How is the way that we were to act?  Don't be moved from what Adonai has placed on the inside of you!!  Do you realize that when we are consistent in our actions that are directed by the Holy Spirit in our conversations with others we will find that others will have a better response?!  Take time to listen to others without other distractions, for surely that is how you would like them to listen to you.  To hear this again click here.
