171. You shall not accede to one who entices you secretly--Deuteronomy 13:9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

Exodus 25:8 They are to make me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them.

Reading the Torah can have a dual experience--depending on whether or not your approach is for academia or seeking a heart felt change. In embracing a biblical culture that is not similar with the practices of modern times, but has been taught to Yahweh's children in the days of old.  This is the specific pattern from Yahweh for an abundant life.

So to the naked eye, the Torah would consist of stories. Stories of a culture not so humble in their beginnings, old ancient stories with no particular spiritual connection.  Yet the calling of man's attention to his relationship to Yahweh...for His eternal purposes.  Even going past the surface browsing of passages and chapters. It is through these lessons we meet the unfathomable Yahweh.  He has a plan from before creation all the way to eternity.  His plans of having a people for Himself to teach His ways follow His instructions and lead to a life more abundant.

Is is really that simple?  Yep follow His instructions...as in obedience and faith.

Glancing at passages with in the Torah, you'll see compositions of seams in each book of the Torah when examined. The words of faith stick out from its (main theme) narrative.

composition [kom-puh-zish-uh n]
noun
1. the act of combining parts or elements to form a whole.
Genesis 15:16;  Exodus 4:5, 14:31; Numbers 14:11, 20:12; Deuteronomy 1:32, 9:23

Signifying major themes of each book in the Torah--summing up to having faith in Yahweh. The type of faith that requires effort to be in action of His instructions. For each time the words mentioned remember! Do not forget! It is as if Yahweh is trying to tell them to have faith and believe in Him.  Stop forgetting!!! You must remember!!  That there will be some other influences that will attempt to make them forget.  Through out the holy text we have an the ample amount of examples, from the lives of the children of Israel.  In contrast to a Western mindset--which says I believe but I won't do. All you have to do is name it and claim it, speaking it into belief. This is the spooky stuff that has no biblical foundations.  The message Yahweh portrays in the Tanakh itself, is action along with speaking.

Well what about the difficult books that consist of priestly duties?  The cutting up and sacrificing of animals on specifically made objects?? The sanctuary or Tabernacle and all the particular items used in service of the tabernacle for ceremonial purposes.  To some it may seem to be rubbish, without proper understanding. There is an necessity in mirroring what Yahweh specifically spoke.  He gave directions on how to construction and functions of the Holy tabernacle.  A type of shadow of the Tabernacle in heaven and the priestly ordinance of the Yeshua.

Exodus 25:9, 40
9 You are to make it according to everything I show you — the design of the tabernacle and the design of its furnishings. This is how you are to make it. 40 See that you make them according to the design being shown you on the mountain.

That pattern of the instruments the specific measurements, crafted items detailed with the highest craftsmanship. All significantly patterned all leading up to the eventual sacrifice of Yahweh himself. Showing His creation, His love and ultimate sacrifice for His children.  Seen as the crucifixion of Yeshua, thousands of years later. The ultimate sacrifice for the atonement of sins. Brought on by the very people Yeshua created.  He gave laws to study and obey, the Torah.  As He commanded time and time again.

The ceremonial law that was performed by the priest in the past-became void at the death of Yeshua. The ultimate sacrifice as a atonement for sin paid by His death and resurrection.  Why would you continue to sacrifice rams and bulls? When they all lead up to Yahweh's atonement for sins?!  No more law of sin and death.

Exodus 25-40; Leviticus; Numbers 1-10 - list the ceremonial laws. So Yeshua's death was the meaning for all the priestly sacrifices. After His death the veil was rent from the top to the bottom. Meaning from the beginning as he told Moses how to construct the tabernacle and its functions. Led up to Yeshua--the living tabernacle.

That right there is where we get "the law was done away with". Since Yeshua's death upon the crucifixion stick.  This right here has been a stumbling block throughout Christendom.  Do we follow the law or not?  The law of sin and death, consisting of the priestly office and sacrifices. Were nullified by tHis death, the ultimate sacrifice the Lamb of Yahweh Himself.  What about the other laws (principles to the kingdom) found in Exodus 20 in its entirety? Are they done away with?  No, of course not!!  There are kingdom principles to live by.  To hear this again click here.

The Old Testament, Torah--Are You The Seed of Abraham?

Genesis 12

We are walking in today:  The Old Testament, Torah--Are You The Seed of Abraham?

Teaching from the book:  Teaching and Preaching from the Old Testament: A guide to the church,
by Walter C Kaiser Jr.

Witness intentions throughout the Bible: defined from  Webster's Revise Unabridged Dictionary 1) Closely directed; strictly attentive; bent--said of the mind, thoughts , etc.; as, a mind intent on self improvement. 2) Having the mind closely directed to or bent on an object; eager in pursuit of object. 3) The act of turning the mind toward an object; hence, a design; a purpose; and intention meaning; drift and/or aim.
Exodus 32:12; Jeremiah 44:25; Proverbs 20:5; Ecclesiastes 8:11; Galatians 5:17; Hebrews 6:17

Genesis 12:1-3 Now Adonai said to Avram, “Get yourself out of your country, away from your kinsmen and away from your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.

Torah H8451 directions, instructions and laws...
Abraham crossed over! Hebrew means crossover!  Our focus today is the Torah!!!! The legal instructions of life versus the life of grace--misunderstood by mass majority of people. Throughout the centuries of the Old Testament followers versus the New Testament followers. One follows specific decrees handed down by Yahweh to
His kingdom citizens. The other follows the traditions made by man in place of the King of all things, who wrote unchanging commandments.....Who is your King?

Intended to be our guide in direction, this is our walk with Yahweh.  The Torah gives instructions in every facet of life such as political, social and economic instructions on how to live.  Leading us to a life more abundant has always be promised for obedience. Why wouldn't you have to be obedient, if Yahweh commanded a promise to it??? Just doesn't add up.

So if you listen carefully to my mitzvot which I am giving you today, to love Adonai your God and serve him with all your heart and all your being;
 Deuteronomy 11:13

If you love me, you will keep my commands; John 14:15

If you live by my regulations, observe my mitzvot and obey them; Leviticus 26:3

The instructions of salvation and obedience echo from the Tanakh are still ringing in the ears of the New testament believers that Yeshua and the disciples taught.  All of which are found in the very scriptures Yahweh and his Talmidin (disciples) knew and followed from the Tanakh (the entire Old Testament)

The New Testament (Brit Hadashah) or of the renewed covenant, testifies of a faithful and specific Yahweh whose characteristics never changes!

Your word continues forever, Adonai, firmly fixed in heaven;
 Psalm 119:89

The grass dries up, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8

This is unlike the inconsistency of man, the volume of the books testify each and every time.  Following the way of the Torah from Israel from the beginning, being called, later led into captivity, destruction and spiritual blindness. This was shown throughout the text in the lives of the children of Israel as well as the victories and prosperity for following the commandments of Yahweh.  Story after story of witnesses pointing to the observance or disobedience of the Torah and its principles.

The Torah in its entirety consists of the first five books of the Bible Genesis-creation, Exodus-salvation, Leviticus-instructions, Numbers-government of Yahweh and Deuteronomy-His promises. Each book containing its individual progression of the journey of the children of Israel, shows Yahweh's patience and care of showing the children of Israel who He is and how His kingdom is to operate.

May your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Matthew 6:10

As a mirror image of heaven, so are Yahweh's intentions for His children.  All He has spoken is forever! The Torah is to give us direction on the way to go.  This is a word rooted in action, motion and doing not merely the concept of good things, but how to live daily life in every facet, relationship with Him!   For the covenants of Yahweh are progressive and builds on the previous instructions!  The covenant made to Adam all the way down to the descendants of Abraham.  All of whom followed the instructions of the original format, the Torah, the words of the King!  To hear this again click here.

Men Of Torah: Men Standing On Yahweh's Purpose

Psalms 77 and Exodus 14

We are walking in today:  Men Of Torah:  Men Standing On Yahweh's Purpose

Teaching from the book:  Preaching and Teaching from the Old Testament:  A Guide to the Church, by Walter C. Kaiser

Witness promises throughout the Bible:

Romans 9:4, 15:8; 2 Corinthians 1:20, 7:1; Hebrews 8:6, 11:17; 2 Peter 1:3-5

Today we are looking at the
songs of Asaph and the deliverance of Israel from Egypt.  In comparison to the trust and belief in Yahweh's promises and purposes.  Asaph's despair, then the remembering of Yahweh's victories in time past.  In contrast to our deepest despair and panic, compared to the instant fear and forgetfulness of the children of Israel.  As Pharaoh and his army pursued to re
-
enslave them or even worse.
Introspect both Asaph's
P
salm and the freed descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
, felt
 the anguish of despair.
Due to their present obstacle has them questioning
the very presence of Yahweh in their respective situations. Yet even in terror of the apparent situation at hand
,
Asaph's
P
salm goes into the casting off of his perplexity at hand. To his remembrance of Yahweh's outstretched hand in previous trials
--that
Yahweh literally showed up and showed out.
Instead we see in Exodus 14
,
Israel forgot about the great deliverance and previous miracles while enslaved in Egypt
--this
was the catalyst to their deliverance. Yet they were mentally paralyzed at the sight of Pharaoh and the advancing Egyptian army. Moses had to remind them
 all that
 Yahweh
had
led them out of the house of bondage--He had to cause them to remember what they so quickly forgot
!  We too must not so quickly forget the mighty acts by His arm of righteousness as we see with the people coming out of Egypt.  This was a drawing out of the people in the midst of
their complaints in emotional bondage (spiritual Egypt).
Yahweh still is faithful and will always and forever be faithful
! Even amid
our afflictions, moments of despair and desolation.

Is
the
 sovereign Yahweh
, have
a plan far greater than our comprehension
? Is there any
 battle
He
 has ever lost
?  Where is any one who can stand against His great power and strength?

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Why Study and Teaching The Laments?

Lamentations 2

We are walking in today:
Why Study and Teaching The Laments
?

Teaching from the book:

Preaching and Teaching from the Old Testament
:
A guide to the church
,

by Walter C. Kaiser Jr.

Witness p
roclamation

throughout the Bible:
H7121

qara

to call, recite, cry out, utter a loud sound, summon, appoint and call to endow.
Jonah 3:7; Ezra 1:1, 10:7; Romans 16:25; Titus 1:2-3; 1 Peter 3:18-20

Lamentations 2
:
11

My eyes are worn out from weeping,

everything in me is churning;I

 am empty of emotion

because of the wounds to my people,

because children and infants are fainting away

in the streets of the city.

We must be careful in taking
 our
pain personally, your emotions lie, Fiveamprayer! Today we continue our study of the book of
Lamentations.
Or the book
of emotional prayers
,

as
I call it.
 It is a book small
in chapters and powerful in relations. We find the passages heartfelt literally associating with the young prophet
,
 Jeremiah weeping
,
pleading about
Yahweh
and the dialogue over the fate of Israel.
 Written
as if
these laments
are told personally and for the nation
--
they were. Examples of the love and care of
Yahweh
 trampled under foot by
His
 people.
This book shows the
 care He placed over
His
children only to have them rebuild and serve foreign gods
 again and again
.
These are
emotionally filled proclamations from the young prophet.

Jeremiah expressed his deepest remorse over the insight of destruction and captivity promise
d
 to Israel.

 Lamentations
 is
 an example
and
should cause the reader to deal with pain and the focus of Yahweh.

As our healer and redeemer in

spite of rebellion against
His
 eternal law
,
He has to purify the inner man and create a new creature.

Psalm
 51:12

Create in me a clean heart, God;renew in me a resolute spirit.

His judgments are true and unbending towards the results of missing the mark
or
sin. For Hebrews believe sin is
related to an archer, who with their
bow and arrow
s--aim to
shooting towards a goal or a target.
It is called sin when the mark is missed--so we can see in this Hebrew idiom.  This gives us a more accurate
picture
,
to try again when you miss the mark
,
 the Torah corrects your aim.
 Amid these continued
 warnings and proclamations; Yahweh's character
 is
being exposed to the reader as a just
judge

Punishment for sin
,
but remorse for judgments due to the unimaginable love Yahweh has for
His
 children.
So we learn that the
book
 of Lamentations is
an
examples of directing one's emotions. That these emotions are necessary towards Yahweh
--in
order for the healing process of missing the mark can begin.

Learning to direct one's emotions as Jeremiah cried unto Yahweh.

All his emotions directed towards the one who could do anything for
any one
!

 As we
also
learn a great deal of directing our emotions towards Yahweh
--He is t
he only one who could truly understand your emotions.

Being fully confident that the trouble doesn't last long after the judgment is ordered
, as
 inevitable and must be.

In order for there to be established Kingdom living
--the truth, plain
 and simple.
 This is the type
 of

living at home with active parents who love their children
 and
 have
placed
rules governing family living. Follow the rules life is great
, break
 the rules consequences follow.

Preaching And Teaching The Laments

Lamentations 3

We are walking in today:
Preaching And Teaching The Laments

Witness
weary throughout the Bible:  H6973 - quwts to be grieved, loathe, abhor, feel a loathing or abhorrence or sickening dread
Isaiah 50:4; Jeremiah 31:24, 45:3; Psalm 68:10; Galatians 6:9; Revelation 2:3

Lamentations: H4553 misped: mourning,wailing

We must study Hebraiclly due to the seventy layers that can be found in the text, the book of Lamentations is a form of Hebrew poetry.  Constructed of a narrative split in layers that can be found in the text in two lined passages called, parallelism or formal parallelism.

Parallelism: The balance of ideals in Hebraic poetry. Spotted by the breaks in the lines, that happens when the poetic lines of the passages are side by side to complete a sentence. Dark and
heavyhearted narratives but comparable to the writers life at hand.

Lamentations 3:19-22 Remember my utter misery, the wormwood and the gall. They are always on my mind;this is why I am so depressed. But in my mind I keep returning to something, something that gives me hope — that the grace of Adonai is not exhausted, that his compassion has not ended.

We can identify the writing style of the prophet Jeremiah in this particular book.  We
must also consider the setting and scenery of Jeremiah's life, being ridiculed, scorned, and other feelings of abandonment. You can imagine all the emotions being felt in this type of situation. When your going through everything as much you are past taking any more. Wondering where are you, Yahweh? Lamentations brings out the dark and dual nature of growth and understanding the sovereignty of Yahweh.
Lamentations is a form of rhetorical device used by the prophet Jeremiah. As a way to convey his experiences and mind state. We've all experience the doubt of Yahweh's presence in our circumstances. These dark periods, behind closed doors when no one else is there--no way to save to face, and no one to impress. This is the real you that Yahweh knows, comes out. It is these words and actions that the religious elite would surely consider you unsaved and unsanctified.

The fact that lamentations expresses the human frailty
, the trust in a relationship and not just head knowledge. But reliance in our Sovereign, Yahweh and His infinite wisdom--in His season, at that day, and at that time.  He will reveal His victorious plans. Until then, Fiveamprayer count it not strange when diverse trails and temptations come. We will continue to study to show are selves approved
So that we can rightly understanding the word of Yahweh!  Where the depth meanings of the passages are revealed, like the layers of a onion.

1 Peter 4:12 Dear friends, don’t regard as strange the fiery ordeal occurring among you to test you, as if something extraordinary were happening to you. To hear this teaching again, click here.

The Levites shall give a tithe from the tithes of the Children of Israel --Numbers 18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for theLord, even a tenth part of the tithe.

158. You shall not bring an abomination into your home --Deuteronomy 7:26
Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

159. You shall destroy all the places where the nations you shall possess worshiped their gods --Deuteronomy 12:2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

160. You shall not bring offerings outside the Sanctuary --Deuteronomy 12:13
Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

161. You shall bring offerings only in the Sanctuary --Deuteronomy 12:14 But in the place which theLord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

Isaiah 40
:
1-2

Comfort and keep comforting my people,” says your God. “Tell Yerushalayim to take heart; proclaim to he
r
 t
hat she has completed her time of service,

that her guilt has been paid off,

that she has received at the hand of Adonai

double for all her sins.

With our current study,
we know how to approach the prophets and their writings. How to interpret the proclamations, warnings, judgments or
declarations
spoken through the prophets. How to discern the messages that are still prevalent today. How to distinguish between a false and called prophet of Yahweh. The question remains how do we preach or teach the prophets?

Determining the message formula of the passages. In this case for Isaiah 40:1-2 can be looked at as the basics of the prophets proclamation
:

"comfort, comfort my people, speaks tenderly with Jerusalem".

 Then we read verse 2
, which
has the actual declaration over the children of Israel
--t
hat the passing of judgment is completed or fulfilled. Then moving on to more series of metaphors pronouncing the state of one's heart. What it will take to have a life prepared for the coming Messiah.
Here we have in
verse 4
,

Let every valley be filled in,

every mountain and hill lowered,

the bumpy places made level

and the crags become a plain.

As we prepare for the arrival of the king who promised to return. We are given a promise.

 The return of the Messiah
--
coming and all flesh will see
H
is return. So beautiful and well orchestrated is the plan of salvation
!
Prepare your hearts as in the old days when a king or a dignitary came through a town. The people w
ould
clean and clear the roads to make a pass
age
 for royalty to
enter
. So the passage in verse 4
 p
ortrays us in preparation for the return of our King
Yeshua!

The focus on the frailties of man and man's pride
, v
ersus the authenticity and longevity of Yahweh's words. Which builds up to in the following verses. The sovereignty and incomparability of Yahweh's
holy and righteous
being. His authority as
Creator,

compared to man's finite accomplishments.

So as a focal point to build the passages into a teachable outline
 and
preparation to teach
--
Isaiah 40
:
18,25
Both starting off with the comparability of Yahweh
, with
the keyword that connects the two verses (compare).

After the introduction which should come from the focal point
, h
as been found
, now you
can begin to build your lesson. By connecting the passages based on your focal points as follows. The comparability of Yahweh's sovereignty to all nations, wisdom, idols, other kings and nobleman,

finite things,

all strength and His love towards us.

The conclusion of the matter:
Is Yahweh able to do more exceedingly above all we may ask or think?

Ephesians
 3:20

CJB

Now to him who by his power working in us is able to do far beyond anything we can ask or imagine,

Can
H
e, will
H
e or could
H
e? There's no comparison known to man
, w
hen it comes to you Yahweh. He is sovereign and that declaration is eternal and true. Everything was created by him and for him.

Colossians
 1:15-20
CJB
He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is supreme over all creation, because in connection with him were created all things — in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities — they have all been created through him and for him. He existed before all things, and he holds everything together. Also he is head of the Body, the Messianic Community — he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might hold first place in everything. For it pleased God to have his full being live in his Son and through his Son to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace through him, through having his Son shed his blood by being executed on a stake.

Jeremiah 32

Jeremiah 32:36-44 CJB Therefore, thus says Adonai the God of Isra’el concerning this city, of which you say that it is handed over to the king of Bavel by sword, famine and plague: ‘I will gather them out of all the countries where I drove them in my anger, fury and great wrath; and I will bring them back to this place and have them live here in safety. They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and singleness of purpose, so that they will fear me forever — this will be for their own good and for the good of their children after them. I will make with them an everlasting covenant not to turn away from them, but to do them good; I will put fear of me in their hearts, so that they will not leave me. I will take joy in them, so as to do them good. I will plant them in this land truly, with my whole heart and being.’ For here is what Adonai says: ‘Just as I have brought this complete disaster on this people, so likewise I will bring on them all the good I have promised them. Fields will be bought in this land, even though you say about it that it is desolate, devoid of human beings or animals, and given over to the Kasdim. Yes, people will buy fields for money, sign the purchase contracts, seal them and call witnesses, in the territory of Binyamin, in the areas around Yerushalayim, in the cities of Y’hudah, in the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the Sh’felah and in the cities of the Negev. For I will cause their exiles to return,’ says Adonai.

Continuing on in the breakdown and understanding of the books of prophets in the Old Testament. We have studied about judgments. Now let's talk about the promises or proclamation spoken by the prophets. Generally starting off with thus sayeth the Lord or this is what the Lord says. Proclamation can be approach by breaking passages into sections as well.
Consisting of three components, the message formula: the beginning starts with 'thus sayeth' or 'this is what the Lord says'
1. A reassurance that Yahweh's promises was still true. verses 27,17
2. The basis for this reassurance.
3. The future transformation of judgment into salvation and blessings. verses 37-44

Additional prophetic proclamations:
The Woe Oracles: generally starting with "Woe" or "Alas" followed by the description of the announcement or a noun that characterizes the people negatively.

The Prophetic Lawsuit (rib)
A proclamation for summons to you always court room.
Consisting of:
1. An appeal for the jury to listen (heavens/earth)
2. The questioning of the witnesses and statement of the accusation.
3. The prosecution addresses the court and is in contrast to the mercies of Yahweh.
4. The call to repent.

So listen now to what Adonai says:“Stand up and state your case to the mountains, let the hills hear what you have to say.” Listen, mountains, to Adonai’s case; also you enduring rocks that support the earth! Adonai has a case against his people; he wants to argue it out with Isra’el: “My people, what have I done to you? How have I wearied you? Answer me! I brought you up from the land of Egypt. I redeemed you from a life of slavery. I sent Moshe, Aharon and Miryam to lead you. My people, just remember what Balak the king of Mo’av had planned, what Bil‘am the son of B‘or answered him, and what happened between Sheetim and Gilgal —so that you will understand
the saving deeds of Adonai.” “With what can I come before Adonai to bow down before God on high?Should I come before him with burnt offerings? W
ith calves in their first year? Would Adonai take delight in thousands of rams with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Could I give my firstborn to pay for my crimes, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you —no more than to act justly, love grace
and walk in purity with your God.
Oracles against Other foreign nations, in the same process as all the others except the judgments are directed nationally and the scenery often changes.

Proclamation from a true prophet--will only speak when it's been given to them by Yahweh. They will speak for or against, bless or curse, or may just bring revelation. They Will not ask you to sow a seed of $200 because Yahweh said 20 people will have it and you will be blessed because of it--oanything else unscriptural!

Jeremiah 44:1-6

This word came to Yirmeyahu concerning all the people from Y’hudah living in the land of Egypt— in Migdol, Tachpanches, Nof and the land of Patros: “Here is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says: ‘You have seen all the disaster I inflicted on Yerushalayim and all the cities of Y’hudah; there they are today, ruined, with no one living in them. It came about because of the wicked things they did to make me angry— sacrificing to and serving other gods, whom they did not know, neither they, nor you nor your ancestors. I had sent you all my servants the prophets, sent them frequently, with the message, “Don’t do this horrible thing which I hate!” But they neither listened nor obeyed, so as to turn from their wickedness and stop offering to other gods. Hence my fury and anger were poured out and ignited in the cities of Y’hudah and the streets of Yerushalayim; so that they became waste and desolate, as they are today.’

Understanding how to properly teach and preach from the books of the prophets has a method of co
urse, a
s do all the books of the Tanakh. In their own unique way but the particular approach comes in the form of
--
sectioning off passages and noticing key words of the prophets proclamation or warnings. Generally starts with
'
therefore

our thus sayeth the Lord Yahweh
'
.

Key sections to look for when understanding narratives in the prophecies--
A introduction: starts with the character in the revelation from Yahweh's word.
A body: an indication of a situation, the sins that caused the proclamation or warning
The development of the situation: the warning of the prophet and their rejection.
The judgment citation: generally starts with a
'
therefore
'

Concluding responses: judgments yelled out and the results there of.

Using these tools as a means to break down the passages and become one with the narrative. Can help your comprehension of the prophecies mention in the Old Testament. Looking at the
b
ooks of the prophets
--w
e must ask the following questions.

What is their message and what does it mean?
Who is it to?
What were the people doing to get Yahweh's attention? Why did Yahweh want  to save them and not just destroy them?

These are the questions and outlines that will improve your lesson study or teaching

Defining The Position Of The Prophet

Numbers 12

We are walking in today:  Defining The Position Of The Prophet

Numbers 12:6-8

He said, “Listen to what I say: when there is a prophet among you, I, Adonai, make myself known to him in a vision, I speak with him in a dream. But it isn’t that way with my servant Moshe. He is the only one who is faithful in my entire household. With him I speak face to face and clearly, not in riddles; he sees the image of Adonai. So why weren’t you afraid to criticize my servant Moshe?”

Prophet: H5030 Nabi = a spokesperson,

speaker or prophet.

Prophets generally are spokesman for the proclamation of Yahweh. A speaker of truth and nothing but the truth. Whether it be a proclamation of judgment or warning. In the ways of clean and unclean, holy or unholy or the observance of
 His
Feast Days. A true prophet will speak nothing but the truth.

Ezekiel 44:23

They are to teach my people the difference between holy and common and enable them to distinguish between clean and unclean
.

Amazingly the books of the prophets has a comprehensible approach to it's a narratives. As of course all books do
--m
ainly consisting of four major prophets and 12 minor prophets. Built on the examples of the major prophets Samuel, Nathan, Elijah and Elisha. There are particular styles and use of rhetorical devices. Generally sets the beginning of segments in the narratives. Usually changing content or scenery with introductions
there
of.

1. Pronouncement or proclamation, accusation or announcement.
2. An explanation of the words spoken

Understanding the particular steps of approach and breaking down the interpretations of prophetic passages. Can't be observed without proper steps.

Step 1. Determined the theme our purpose of each book
Step 2. Mark out sections that change in the book. Using rhetorical devices
Step 3. Look for specific genre, literary form of writing, profits style
Step 4. Investigate the historical and social setting of the book.

In closing we look at the book

 a book of more relevant
and

It is only with our
careful interpretations of passages
we find the text still
applicable for our day. Our Yahweh is omnipotent all powerful and omnipresent ever present, timeless,
 A

H

H
is word is one with
H

 Able to do exactly what
H
e intended for it to do. More exceedingly more abundantly above all that we may ask or think. Yet we still have to be taught how to rightly understand the Kings language
,
the Torah. To speak as prophet
--
what the prophets spoke
,
 the language
 heard
 from the King.

We have to obtain His understanding of the definition of the prophet.  We have received the unbiblical and erroneous understanding of the prophets being those who tell the future.  But what is the warning and definition?  Yahweh's warning to Israel is found in Deuteronomy 13 and Ezekiel 13, which would help in defining the proper and true prophet.  This is not about telling the future, rather speaking the correction or instruction from Yahweh--which we have in the life of Samuel that none of his words fell to the ground--why?  Because He spoke that Yahweh the Almighty one said will certainly come to pass.  The primary focus is on the 'prophecy' aligned with the holy text for all He speaks is in agreement with what He has already spoken!  To hear this teaching again click here.
