Discovering truths that can rock the very foundations of one's lifetime belief--can be a fearsome experience! For a adult to find out that their parent who has raised them all of their lives, is not really their parent is like waking up to an earthquake.  This overwhelming finding that you may have suspected, but was unable to find out. So could it be that you had parents  who are not biological...or plain and simple everything you believed to be true--your whole life is a lie.  This can be the initial shock to find out about the origin of the Bible, the context of the culture and how that traces throughout the heritage of black people throughout history.

We find especially in the Torah...that connects the past to the present to show us black people ourselves.  Why is that important?  As a culture the history that we have understood or taught is varied indeed, but does it encompass the entirety of what has happened going all the way to back to the beginning.  This personally was not opened up until the privilege of having a Rabbi open my understanding of the importance of Black men and women returning to our ancestors roots...Hebrew! Truth comes in many forms, the only way it can not be revealed is through deception or flat out ignorance.

Learn who you are and what we're supposed to be doing. What caused the interrupting of your purpose? What can cause the misdirection or misstep into error?  Finding out that there are indeed black people in the Bible is a shock for many, but allows for a link back to our history.  How much more does the scripture mean when you see yourself?  For many being included is a new experience when it comes to this understanding of the text.

Deuteronomy 28:15 But if you refuse to pay attention to what Adonai your God says, and do not observe and obey all his mitzvot and regulations which I am giving you today, then all the following curses will be yours in abundance:

Deuteronomy 28:48 But if you refuse to pay attention to what Adonai your God says, and do not observe and obey all his mitzvot and regulations which I am giving you today, then all the following curses will be yours in abundance: Adonai will send your enemy against you; and you will serve him when you are hungry, thirsty, poorly clothed and lacking everything; he will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he destroys you.

No other race has gone through the systematic destruction of a culture mentally, physically, nor spiritually other than the Black race globally. All to keep us from finding out the truth--which is being opened up now across the world that many are waking up.  Why is and has that happened to us? Are we cursed? Why hasn't this been taught over the pulpit?

As knowledge and information are at the touch of a fingertips, yet to have a master teacher of the Torah speaks volumes. To teach the truths that have been lied about, or hidden agendas that go beyond hatred of skin.  This is a system that is bent on keeping the sleeping the Sons and Daughters of Ephraim Sleep. Bottom line : the Torah includes our people and consists of the heritage of our ancestors--their voices echo in our hearing even today.  It is time for Ephraim to wake up!
