In approaching to preach or teach scriptural passages in the original intent and having the effects of a Spirit lead message, we must study and pray Hebraiclly. Comprehension of the truth may be given to the soul as well as mind. Uriel, illuminate light in the atmosphere, bring a steady current of information from on high! Gabriel thank you for comprehension through the Ruach HaKodesh. Let's Go!!
Five steps to preparing preaching and teaching and understanding and comprehension narrative passages.
1. Contextual analysis:
Context that help us see the forest before the trees.
2. Syntactical analysis:
Literary type of analysis using main characters of subjects hero/villain, to identify and clarity an approach to the passage.
3.Verbal Analysis:
This step includes, what words should be paid attention to in the passages. All the words hard to pronounce and any word where the definition is not known--should be payed special attention. This all researched and placed in proper content to the narrative.
Sub Steps: for 4th and 5th step will be discussed in tomorrow's lesson
Paragraphing and its Related Forms:
Requires a little bit more detail in constructing. In order for a thorough comprehension and teaching to occur. More graphing words with a Greek and Hebrew concordance. In versions of literature i.e. kjv, niv, cjb.
Topical Sentences: Express key thoughts mainly ideals within the passages. Identified in various positions in the passages i.e. beginning, middle or the end of the passages.
Blocking Diagram or Mechanical Layout: This process involves graphing analysis of the topic and conjoining scriptures. Lining them together to see if the thoughts spoken changes. Or is consistent, based on the connecting passages and marks of punctuation appearing.
These are just few basic steps in the preparing to preach and teach the Old Testament, while using a few Syntactical exegesis to comprehend the book of Malachi.
Malachi chapter 3 starts off in the beginning of verse 1 as a proclamation to look and to look for a messenger. This messenger proclaims the reason for the message. The falling away from the law given to Moses and the returning to it. In conclusions, a proclamations by His prophet Elijah turning the hearts of the Fathers to the heats of the Sons and vice versa. Before the great and terrible day of the Lord. For the forefathers observed the Torah and were commanded to teach their children the Torah.
Deuteronomy 11:19
