Torah Redefines A Man's Ways, To Give Yahweh The Praise!
1Psalm 100
1(A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
This is such a bold statement to a believer in the New Testament! For those who could be counted as a scholar of the biblical text, that all that time in study and memorizing key scriptures, will not redefine them as people of praise. Which is to say all that studying without His understanding, in vain.1(A Psalm of praise.) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Well, on the contrary--the Torah or shall I say the Tanakh contains the foundation for the building blocks of the Bible. It's a guide used by the disciples, men of great faith and courage. Who studied under a master teacher Yeshua Hamashiach.
Who taught nothing, but Old Testament principles and spoke nothing but what was written. Where was it written; in the Old Testament? Hopefully some of you will get that. Our current topic at hand is the fact that, understanding from a firm foundation has to be set in order to build. We can only be greater than what we have been built from. This gives us a great time to take a selah moment, what is your foundation? Are there cracks in the foundation? For the higher up you build, with those cracks, stress fractures will begin to appear. Let us cease from being on shaky ground with cracks in our foundation! This is why we must go back to find where there are weak points of misunderstanding before building higher! Our foundations have to be solid. Our understanding firmly grounded and rooted in His truth! My teachers lessons has to challenge my beliefs, that if left unchecked will result in cracks. This is a going deeper into His manual for our of lives! This should cause us to question and seek deeper revelations of our Creator and His words. The patterns or foundations already set for our success. Yet to understand one has to be taught or be willing to be taught--how to study, how to pray and how to praise.
We're going to briefly talk about this topic in the scriptures and define what is praise. What is the purpose and why is it important to understand the makeup of Psalms 100 in relations to praise.
Praise....H1974 = Hallel... hence Halleluyah...Praise Yahweh
Can be broken up into so many categories or types for instance:
1. Lament H5091 to wailing or cry.
2. Praise defined above
Then we have descriptive and declarative Psalms:
Descriptive Psalms would be Psalms that describe the characteristics of Yahweh,
Psalm 29,100,135-136 or 145-150
Declarative Psalms celebrates the actions of Yahweh..
Psalm 30, 34, 92
We can even go deeper into these categories of approaching Psalms, by looking at two elements as to the purpose of Psalms.
1. A call to worship Yahweh
2. A cause to worship Yahweh.

A call to worship, declaring Yahweh is Lord over everything and it calls to worship, because He always makes Himself known in everything!
For a man to be His key on this earth, is to know His maker. His ways and characteristics--Yahweh a proper response to the King of righteousness who blesses His people with His presence and love! It is His love for us, that He teaches us His ways and truth about Him and how to be like Him is amazing! And we find that a praising man, is a wise man. For he who acknowledges where his strength comes from on high and not himself! To listen to this again click here.
