Weekend Meditation--No More Accommodations--Preach Or Teach The Unapologetic, Uncompromising Foundational Word of Yahweh!

2 Timothy 3; Exodus 24:4

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--No More Accommodations--Preach Or Teach The Unapologetic, Uncompromising Foundational Word of Yahweh!

Teaching from the book:  Teaching and Preaching From the Old Testament: A guide to the church, by Walter C. Kaiser Jr.

Witness preach the word throughout the Bible:  2 Timothy 3:15-17 and recalling too how from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which can give you the wisdom that leads to deliverance through trusting in Yeshua the Messiah. All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living; thus anyone who belongs to God may be fully equipped for every good work. -CJB

This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? Kingdom Principles For Kingdom Living.  This book can be ordered online  http://store.torah.tv/browse.cfm/torah:-law-or-grace-book/4,4821.html

Exodus 24:4 Moshe wrote down all the words of Adonai. He rose early in the morning, built an altar at the base of the mountain and set upright twelve large stones to represent the twelve tribes of Isra’el. - CJB

Woe to the preachers and teachers of a modern day society--the proclaimers of the good news of the gospel.  Preaching and teaching power lead sermons of doctrines rehearsed by former men and women revered by their collegiate peers, placed on platforms near to be idolizing in nature. These who are entrusted with the words of life to bring life eternal. Speaking here in the hearts of men, only to craft the word of Yahweh, into the customs and ideals of man.  How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news.

Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, proclaiming shalom, bringing good news of good things, announcing salvation and saying to Tziyon, “Your God is King!” - CJB

Roman 10:15 And how can people proclaim him unless God sends them? — as the Tanakh puts it, “How beautiful are the feet of those announcing good news about good things!” -CJB

The burden of words spoken without divine authority--loss of spirit filled power that is able to instruct, point out an error, correct and train for eternal life. Leaves the modern day teacher with a form of physical theatrics and an arsenal of word play to capture the hearers attention. All without actually allowing the Spirit of Yahweh to transform the mind by the power of His word. The power alone that shaped nothingness to atomic and into being.

Roman 12:2
In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. - CJB

The only affect the teacher has in response to his performance is emotionally charged followers with little comprehension of the power of Yahweh's word that instructs in the operation of His kingdom. However, more studious, students of Yeshua, move on past the cliches and catch phrases that sounds good but is noisy and bothersome and does not fulfill the intent and purpose of its author.

So the careful study of approach for the modern day preacher. Is to seek Yahweh's Ruach HaKodesh leading and guidance. To open up the meaning of its power to change. The same example Yeshua, the apostles and disciples (Talmidim) followed, this is nothing new by no means! This is the same Old Testament they lived and faithfully studied. Yet if they all used the original context  of the Old Testament we wouldn't be having all the denominations, the many schools of thoughts and theories on a word that has been changed to suit man's customs and beliefs. So the question arises: Do we teach the New Testament only without the old? Sadly for many today and over the years the answer is, yes. You can put old wine in a new wine skin? Being born again by the renewing of the mind to receive the truth of the Old Testaments increases the value of study.  This gives us a map or guide to unlocking false pagan infiltrated doctrine! To the very words taught to Yeshua's students..

Matthew 9:17
Nor do people put new wine in old wineskins; if they do, the skins burst, the wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. No, they pour new wine into freshly prepared wineskins, and in this way both are preserved.” - CJB

Roman 12:2
In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. -CJB

Ephesians 4:23-24
and you must let your spirits and minds keep being renewed, and clothe yourselves with the new nature created to be godly, which expresses itself in the righteousness and holiness that flow from the truth. - CJB

For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote. But if you don’t believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” - NIV

Based off of the last lesson, we find that even in the house of study in biblical seminaries and the actions within the past few centuries, the interpretations and methods of theology were carefully changed. Has a play for universal thought to come within one's own interpretation of biblical literature. regardless of not relying on the original thoughts intended by the author?

Books for further research:

1946 -"Truth and Method" by Gadamer

1946-" The International Fallacy" by W.K. Wombat and Monroe Beardsley

1965 - Paul Ricoeur thesis (a text should be semantically independent from the intention of its author)

Quite a few other great theologians actually got together with this idea within this great theological breakthrough of a era, their whole conglomerate plan implemented. The fact that "other than the author's original intent of writing--one could come up with his own conclusion of comprehending the writings". These men in history came up with the idea of regardless of the intentional thoughts of biblical literature. The interpretation would come from one's own comprehension--not based off of the original intent and purposes of the writer, wow!!!! Can you say question everything!!!! So not only are we finding out in modern day books, history has been fabricated. We can see also that biblical interpretations, narrative, passages within the Christian religion has been fabricated, which has been going on for quite a few centuries within the seminary schools. Research, do your studies, search out the fact of the matter! The history of the church is diabolical and wrought with man's inventions even against Yahweh's clearly defined intention and purpose.  Yet does that make the word void? No it certainly does not!  This goes to show that its interpretations just need to be carefully, and dilligently y studied out. Using the tools relayed in the approach of comprehending, from the instructions of this book Preaching and Teaching the Old Testament. The careful study on the examples Yeshua walked out and taught His talmidim. This is a careful study of the Torah.

The focus on the original intent of training leaders to teach the gospel, became more of a cultural adaptation of catering to modern facsits of the word. To fit society and the culture of the world's era. Yet that was never the original intent of Yahweh!  This is far, far from the original plan, three points for review for the modern pluralistic church:

1. What is the beliefs and purposes of the church?
For the Church of that time to loose her integrity of teaching and preaching the unadulterated Word of Yahweh. By losing that focus the church lost its face. By becoming an institution of freestanding thinking of theological reflections and thoughts. Instead of the study of the entire word.

2. Seminaries teaching other curriculum other than theology. Incorporating foreign issues, economic and political platform. Prostituting the gospel for political causes.

3. The seminary placing itself as a regular school of thought. With more focus on academia then content of one's accurate relationship with Yahweh and comprehension of basic fundamentals beliefs in the word.

So this lesson which gives you the inclination, to really do a study of church history--its challenges, changes, victories and defeats. A call to teach nothing other than what is in the word. To study every context of passages as if your life depends on the next word read--when in fact it does. Knowing that man thought to change  the times and laws, the very word of Yahweh to suit one's own desires. This practice that has passed through centuries of 'biblical curriculum' unchallenged. Due to idolatry of the people in placing the leaders without spiritual integrity and not studying or learning the Scriptures from Yahweh himself as intended.  To hear this again click here.
