What is it that gained in using the flattering tongue? Preying on those who are desperate for compliments or false encouragement? Building them up on wind filled staves? Upon closer inspection we find the error. Truly this does not enhance any friendships. The lack of honesty shows how much respect is being shown. But it does not stop there. There should never be a time that this guile is used to gain or position the person for future manipulation. This all stems from a lack of trust in He who provides richly for us in obedience of His instruction. The centuries we have been positioned to think in a Greek mindset and value our intellect over all others. How can the cake be greater than the baker who combined the ingredients for this delicious outcome. The same is true with Yahweh, our Elohim, our Maker truly knows best for He formed us with His very hands. Only the Creator knows all the details of their handiwork. This 30 day fast is to realign us with His words, His principles operating in out lives. Would we return to the way that it was in the beginning? How is it that we continue in the same practices that have yielded faint and false results. Let not the flattering tongue beguile you to entice others for a preserved benefit. Operation in this fashion will clause alliances that will come to conflict, all of this nice set dressing that hides the true intention and purposes will soon crumble under the light of true certainty. Only those who will not seek their own favor instead of relying on His favor with those here in the earth. Lack of trust seems to be a common root in our wayward tongue. Take time out today to check for the words on your tongue to find the true intention behind them first. Does this word lie in the truth or surrounded by deceit.
