Fiveamprayer, the sower of discord is a concern for healthy communities and families.  Wielding control over that tongue that would seek to divide and possible conquer.  But this goes deeper than just speaking unkind things about another.  This goes back to intense feeling of mistreatment--real or otherwise.  That the sower of discord would even defend their actions or take pleasure from this ungodly influence in their lives.  When left unchecked much damage can arise to those surrounding the sower of discord.  This is especially detrimental to the leader who is having the people turned to the sower's 'side of the story'.  To keep the people of Israel holy like their God, Yahweh is holy, He gives the instructions of speaking to the person to make a change and no longer stir up strife between the community.  If they still persist they are to be given time away from the community to consider their ways.    Making several attempts to regain your community member but not allowed to cause sufferings of the community as a whole.  As we learned with the boundaries that are to protect that which is important.  This even reduces the possible damage that can be inflicted when the boundaries are enforced.  This is all done in love, for they may have unknowingly become tools of the principalities that war against the righteous word of the King, Yahweh!  When we speak the truth in love, we protect both ourselves--the persons that Yahweh made in His image and likeness.  This must be upheld in love--if the sower of discord determines to continue their present course, prayerfully they may return later.  While confronting is not an easy process, but this must be done for obedience to Yahweh's instruction, the protection of others and the harmonious community for the benefit of all.  Not allowing many people to suffering under the sower of discord's tantrums and causing this behavior to become more intensified.  We have been given the way that we are to go, let us take and make the needed corrections to be in alignment with all of His word.  For He knows why we must put those things out while they are but a small problem before long they become a tsunami of barrages wreaking havoc in the whole community.  To listen to this teaching again click here.
