This 30 day fast for our tongues will assist us in truly knowing that life and death is in the power of our tongues.  Remember that in the beginning--Yahweh spoke the world into existence.  The negative words that we have been speaking are now bearing their fruit.  One of the most overlooked fruits of the spirit is self control.  This 30 days will cause us to exercise self control.  There is no more blaming it on, the devil made me do it.  No, no and no--we have exactly what we have chosen or rather spoken.
Fiveamprayer continue in this walk as we all learn to correct, contain and restrain our speech.  We are learning to speak the kingdom of heaven's language.  That we would take our legal position spiritually, physically and verbally.  This can be a major shift for many of us that have not taken our words seriously.  We must not continue to allow any and every thing to just bubble up our of your lips.  Every aimless thought must not be an aimless utterance!
We have to see that in our current culture that is soaked in varied degrees of fabrication of stories, music, and advertisements that a lie or embellishment are often disregarded.  We have to know that a half-truth is total lie!  The exaggerations to make to the story sound better or to cast us in a better light, is leading us and our audience away from the truth.  We must not be fearful of what others think that we would compromise our words or agree to lies for our benefit.  What we can truly find and see in our lives being lived and closely reviewed that we are to be in the truth, the whole truth completely.
