Luke 2:6-7; Isaiah 7:14; Micah 5:2; Mark 12:30-31; Revelation 3:20; Matthew 6:33; Luke 9:23; Psalm 34:19; Luke 2:10-14
We are walking in today: No Room In The Inn.
Luke 2:6-7
6) And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were
accomplished that she should be delivered. 7) And she brought forth her
firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a
manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. The fact
that there was no room for Jesus, Mary and Joseph in the inn at
Bethlehem on the first Christmas should make us wonder. Because the
birth of Christ was foreseen and planned by God. From all eternity,
hundreds of years before it happened. The prophets announced in, Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin
shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. And that He would be born in Bethlehem--Micah 5:2
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands
of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be
ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from
everlasting. Many other details of His life and death were also
foretold. Did God then forget to make room for His only Son?! How is
that possible that there was no room when the child born on Christmas
owns the inn and Bethlehem and the whole world--every inch of room in
the universe?! Obviously God did this on purpose. There was no room in
the inn because this demonstrates that the world has rejected God. The
world makes no room for the God who created it. There was no room in
the inn becasuse God wanted to show that His Son comes as a Savior to
reconsile a world that is at eminity with God. Being turned away from
the inn foreshadowed the fact that the Savior, Himself will be rejected,
deispised and ultimately crucified. It was all a part of God's plan
from all eternity, ultimately the lack of room in the inn symbolizes the
lack of room we make for Him in our hearts. When our hearts are filled
with all kinds of desires than God--we gradually crowd Him out all
together. No room in the inn also means that we fail to make room for
our brothers and sisters. Mark 12:30-31 30) And
thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the
first commandment. 31) And
the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Today He doesn't seek room in the inn, He is seeking room in our hearts and lives! He asks that we would let Him in, He is at the door knocking. Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and
open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with
me. Make room for our Savior, in the name of Jesus!
How many
of us were so busy in this season, shopping and pick up gifts that we
have no room for Him?! Fiveamprayer, have you pushed Him to the back
burner? Many of us have not made room for Him in our hearts or homes.
No room for Jesus--yeah I am gonna pray next week, I will go to church
next Sunday. Are you doing everything else and putting God to the
side? God is standing at the door of your heart and is knocking asking
to come in. Will you harken to His voice? Will you open the door, He
says that He will come in and sup with you and you with Him! But the
world and many believers say that there is no room for Him in the inn.
When God was looking to and fro for someone to send, He found none and
sent His only begotten Son. He came in to a dying world, bringing life
more abundantly. Even now in 2012 they have no room for Jesus, that
there is no more prayer in the schools. You better cover your children
before they head out to school! Take a look around, no Jesus anywhere!
People saying happy holidays instead of Merry Christmas! When there are
many businesses that are closed on December 25 of every year and most
calendars have that day listed as Christmas but we can't say Merry
Christmas?! Make room for the Savior, He certainly has made room for
you! Going to the cross to redeem you to the Father. Being our
intercessor with God and saying My blood has already paid for that.
Make room fiveamprayer for your healing and for God to do the impossible
in your life! We must make room for the Savior of the world, Jesus! He is still on the throne. We get up early seeking Him! Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Why are you lacking? Is it because you are not making room for Him?! Are you not calling out to Him?! Are you not praying in Jesus' name?! Cry out to Him at the alter. God is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle--we have to make room!
You make room for everything else!? Even when Jesus came and all of
the miracles that He did--no room, that the people cried out crucify
Him! Are you telling your children that Christmas is about the birth of
Christ? That He is the reason that we celebrate, that He came to take
away the sins of the world! Make room for Jesus. Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Make room and get ready for the suffering, they that follow Jesus will
suffer. We thank You God for every stripe and that Your response was
forgive them Father, they know not what they do. God is coming back for
a church! Make room, He is knocking at your door of your heart.
Accept Jesus as your personal savior, come on down to the alter, there
is still room. Do you believe that He died for your sins? Salvation is
free, Jesus paid it all on the cross! All to Him do we owe! Thank You
Lord! For washing and redeeming us! When is the last time that you
asked someone do you believe? This is about a personal relation ship
with God! There is still room! Send us an email at fiveamprayer@gmail.com
that you wanna try Him for yourself. He will leave the 99 and look for
the one, are you the one? Make room. You are so awesome and mighty
Lord! We make room--seeking, asking and knocking. We turn from our
wicked ways, how we need You Lord! Thank You for this day, this is the
day that You have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! It is not
about presents but about Your presence. That we have Emannuel, God
with us, that You were born of a virgin and grew in favor with God and
man. Lord, You are the foretold Messiah that would walk among us and
teach us the good and right ways. Talk to Him all day today. He was
been waiting to talk to you! Thank You Lord, You have done so much for
me! For every mountain that You brought me over, for every blessing I
give You praise! We know that is is only by Your hand that were have
been delivered and receive blessings! You are the reason for this
season--Jesus Christ! I am making room, asking which way do I go,
Lord. I am making room asking what words to I say? I am making room,
which prayer do I pray? Hallelujah Lord! You are so worthy! Thank You
for this day! Don't worry about tomorrow, our God is the same
yesterday, today and forever more! We lift up fiveamprayer there is
someone crying out, I am making room for Jesus! There is no room for
fear, that is not a spirit that You gave us! I am making room in my
heart, my home and my ministry! We come to repent for putting
everything before You. Forgive us Father for being mislead. Thank You
God for coming to get our focus back on You, the King of kings, the
Lord of lords, the Prince of Peace, Emmanuel! Thank You for coming into
this dying world with life more abundantly! Thank You for forgiving us
as we are to forgive others to be forgiven! Thank You God that when
You forgive our sins are cast away, remembered no more, that You forgive
with no condemnation.
We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: I am making room!
Welcome to the overflow...
What
a mighty God that we serve! Are you making room? He told you what to
do a long time ago. Walk it out with God. Obedience is better than
sacrifice! God said it and that is enough for me! We get up this
morning to make room. That our response is from our hearts,
nevertheless Thy will be done! Glory to Your name! Glory to God in the
highest! Hosanna in the highest! Glory to the Living God! Luke 2:10-14
10) And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you
good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11) For unto
you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the
Lord. 12) And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe
wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13) And suddenly there
was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and
saying, 14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will
toward men.
