Psalm 120:2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

Psalm 5:12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Esther chapter 2
Genesis chapter 39-41
Judges 16
Psalm 12:3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

Judges 16:15  And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.
Luke 20:22-23 22) Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? 23) But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

This morning we continue with our study of the tongue.  Thank You God for how You used Sandy Bell this morning as she teaches on how we must be watchful of how the tongue would manipulate others even our own selves.  Let us filter all of our decisions and thoughts through Your word that we don't fall prey to ulterior motives or things that are based on false things.  Those things that line up and have their roots in deceit and trickery--all tools of the enemy.  We have to know what side that we stand on, that we are looking to You God, You are the light on our path.  As we walk and there is not light then we know that we have gone astray.  Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.  We have to be concerned about God leading us, not being lead by emotions or the false appearance there of.  As we learned yesterday we are to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!  Fiveamprayer that we would be found speaking the truth and not be found as a liar or flatterer, or manipulator.  We can not be in a rush to do things our way for unjust gain.  We must be patient to receive from the Father in His perfect time.  Help us God to put away those old ways that we are now washed in Your truth and would continue to walk in the knowledge of Your love and life-giving power!  Forgive us Lord for the deceit that we have orchestrated with our tongues.  Let us not longer walk in error to Your righteous ways!  Lord we pray that You would pour back into Sandy for her pouring out on the line this morning.  Thank You for Your willing and humble servant.  Bless and keep her in the palm of Your hand.  Thank You God!  Amen, amen!  To listen to this message click here

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  Job 32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.   We have no need to manipulate anyone else for favor or advantage.  God is in control and we can trust in that!  Not trying to make things happen ourselves!
